It's a Jolly Holiday with LL. *FINISHED* Final Update on pg. 58.

I am sorry about the Cheapling Witchling!!! :headache:

Enjoy your day tomorrow no matter what -- pretend WOH isn't even there! I will be thinking of you as I drive that LOOOONNNNGGGG stretch between Macon and the Florida state line!
As I am relaxing during my facial....I will be thinking....CP is almost in Florida, I can't wait for Lapu Lapu Fabby Fest 2009....ahhhhhh. :goodvibes

CP! Maybe you know this....there was a song on grey's anatomy probably season 2 or 3 that I loved. It was a girl...do you know it? I can't find it.

Yep...still working on the wedding music. I had an ipod crisis today.

We had a nice...ahem...clearing of the air this morning and I am going to go home tonight and just be lovey and happy. :lovestruc

Mmm. Sometimes that is the best. It makes the "air-clearing" soooo worth it.

Mind you, you're all assuming that there will be Lapu Lapu's left at the Poly when you get there...remember I'll have been there in July'09 and there is always the chance that as it's my Special birthday I may drink the place dry;)

Oh. Shoot. TK and I are supposed to leave some Lapu Lapus behind for the rest of y'all, huh? Hm. Think I can bring my own pineapples?

So, my WOH/MOH called. Ugh. Of course she had this huge sob story prepared and went on and on about she would do anything for me but she doesn't have any money, yada yada yada. :furious:
Of course I was too wimpy to tell how I really feel. It's a huge flaw of mine. :::Sigh::: It just wasn't worth it because than I would have to deal with all the drama tomorrow. She wasn't even planning on paying for my meal! Whatever. I did tell her that she wouldn't be spending the night before the wedding so that makes me feel better. I am just going to enjoy the spa tomorrow and try not to worry about anything.

::sigh::

You tell me about her conversation and in my head all I can hear is that "Muahmuahmuahmuahmuah" that the adults speak in on Charlie Brown.

It's just sad that she couldn't come through. I'm sorry it's not really salvagable. But when one door closes...

"I am the bride, it is my day."

LL is the bride, it is her day.
LL is the bride, it is her day.

Tink is not the bride, but she has a 25% COACH coupon burning a whole in her pocketbook.

::ahem::

LL is the bride, it is her day.

So very true!

Try explaining that on the airplane! :rotfl2:

That's how I felt when the conversation was taking place. I'm over it. Another bridesmaid, DF's cousin, called tonight and told me how much she is looking forward to tomorrow. And also agreed with me in the most tactful way that I was right about WOH.

I just want to go shopping with you, it sounds like so much fun. I do have a confession though, I just bought my first "big girl" purse. It's lovely and it's all mine. :cloud9:

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: We think exactly the same!!

Yeah but are you being introduced with a hockey fight song? We walked into our reception to Black Betty which is the UNH hockey song. It was too funny!
Hehehe...that is cute. We aren't having dancing so it's basically background music. We aren't being introduced either...at least I don't think. Unless someone else is planning to do that. I just want to slip in quietly.
I do have Shipping up to Boston from Dropkick Murphys though. :rotfl:

Just thought of some other songs 'Your the best thing' by The Style Council, 'Your Love is King' either by Sade or Will Young (both versions are gorgeous), 'Super Duper Love (Are you diggin' on me?) by Joss Stone or for a wee surprise for your DH the James Bond theme 'Nobody does it better' by Carly Simon he can't fail but appreciate that one;)

Today's spa day, right? I hope you have a great time, and maintain relaxation mode!

I am the bride, this is my day.:goodvibes

Ooooh! I like the "Nobody does it better" suggestion, I just might have to add that one in. Thank you so much!! :goodvibes

I have a funny little story to share before I head up to my mom's pre-spa day to get my hair highlighted.

I was telling DF about Lapu Lapu Fabby Fest 2009, last night. How most of you were going to make it a long weekend event. I told him about t-shirts, PKB's BF...or perhaps DF by then...joining the festivities, and all the fantastic stuff about it.

So, I am just about asleep and he goes, "What are you calling it again, 'Luau, Luau, Fizzy Pants?" I nearly died laughing at him. :lmao:

Fizzy Pants? What does that even mean? He couldn't tell me when I asked him. :rotfl:

:furious: Don't worry... neither of you could hear it but I was telling her off for you right there

Let me tell you girlie, I feel the stress your going through. I didn't have the same issues, mine was that DH's parents divorce had just been finalized a couple of weeks beforehand. It took four years and was not amicable. There was a lot of carp that went down during my rehearsal dinner and the actual day with my MIL.

That completely stinks!

Repeat after me. "I am the bride, it is my day."

Whenever people start to walk all over you or try to feed you a line of bull you know to be so, repeat after me, "I am the bride, it is my day."

That is awesome advice... I just wanted to tell you that!

A lot of people on my side said I handled my wedding day with grace and dignity. I like to call it purposeful ignorance. What I saw, I ignored, what I didn't see, didn't exist until people told me after my honeymoon.

On that day, I only had eyes for my husband. I danced all night, and they literally would have to pull me off the dance floor for pictures or when people were leaving. We had so much fun, my parents paid to stay an extra hour. We were party animals. ::yes::

I want that for you.

Ditto... I want your day to be wonderful for you. :goodvibes

And if you're feeling generous, "I love DH, it is our day.";)

:lmao:

I am the bride, it is my day.:bride:

I love DH, it is our day. :groom:

That is what is most important.

Hehehe...that is cute. We aren't having dancing so it's basically background music. We aren't being introduced either...at least I don't think. Unless someone else is planning to do that. I just want to slip in quietly.

Have you thought of "Sweet Caroline yet?" That is a great song to play after people have been drinking for a while! :D

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: from both of us!

I wanted to put this in a separate post to keep it away from the other stuff!!

Have an awesome day at the spa today! Relax and try and forget about the stress.

Remember... "I am a bride, this is my day!":goodvibes
