It's a Jolly Holiday with LL. *FINISHED* Final Update on pg. 58.

I just looked down at my helpful little tickers....

FOUR WEEKS UNTIL THE WEDDING! :scared1:

Oh my goodness, when I looked at the ticker, it gave my heart a jolt. I can't believe, that in 4 short weeks I will become Mrs. LL. Woah. I feel like I blinked and May was over.

We got in a bunch of responses today, but we are still waiting on a bunch, they are due next Saturday so I am hoping for all of them to come in this week, though I am not holding my breath. When we sent out the invites, we included 2 scrapbook pages and asked everyone to complete one. We have been getting some great things back from everyone. I think I might try to take some pictures of them so you guys can get an idea of what I am talking about it. We did the scrapbook pages instead of a traditional guest book. I really love the way it is turning out.

After I got my little shock about the wedding, my eyes travel lower and notice that I have moved even closer to WDW!!!

2 MONTHS, 4 WEEKS, AND 2 DAYS!!!

We get back from the cruise on July 6th. We leave for WDW on August 30th! :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:
I hadn't realized before that it would be less than two months before Disney. :faint: I am super excited and now believe it is not too early to be working on tip envelopes, etc. Woo Hoo!

That's so exciting....you must be so busy right now!!!

I'm probably going to jinx myself but I am not super busy yet. Keyword yet. As I was in staples buying clear labels for my tip envelopes, I realized that I wanted to put the rehearsal dinner invites in the mail on Monday. The invites are made and everything, I just need to address them. So now I get to use my clear labels for those too. :thumbsup2

I have the seating chart, table labels and ordering the rehearsal dinner food left to do. Most everything else has been already taken care of and boxed so all we have to do is pull it out on the day. All the bridal party gifts are wrapped except for DF's groomsmen gifts but the boxes are so big we might just put bows on them. Plus we have to pack, but I actually enjoy packing and have started gathering stuff we won't use already. Ooh just thinking about it, gets me so excited!! :hyper:

It's never too early to start getting things ready for WDW.

I would love to see pictures of the scrapbook pages -- that is such a cool and different idea!

I am going to have a picture taking session tomorrow, I even have some other trip related things I want to take pics of, so hopefully I will have a bunch of stuff to post tomorrow.

Hurray! I love pictures!!!
Me too!!

I think you will find this as amusing as I do...DF sent me at text message at 4am, saying that his brother was in the ER because he dislocated his shoulder! Those crazy boys. I guess they were at the Casino and one of their cousins pushed his brother in a joking way, brother was a little..ahem tipsy and down he went. He's dislocated his shoulder 4 times now! DF has done it twice...:::Shudder::: I am thankful that I haven't been around when either of them have done it.

Men --

Of course, all I can think of when someone dislocates their shoulder is Mel Gibson's character in the Lethal Weapon movies!!!

So, was that the official end of the bachelor party night?

It's all fun and games until someone dislocates their shoulder!

Apparently one of his cousins was passed out in the room by 9:30, he didn't even make it to dinner.

The dislocation took place at 2am, his brother didn't want to miss the party. :duck: So he wanted his cousin who is in his last year of a Physcial Therapy program to put it back in. His cousin could have done it but DF's bro almost passed out so they called the ambulance. So he didn't get back until 6am. They wouldn't let DF go to the hospital with him because they wanted to enjoy his party :lmao: so he sat up worried until he came back. DF says they had a great time until then. The cousin who pushed DF's bro felt so bad that once everyone was settled in the hotel, he drove home early. Men. :headache:

I told DF there will be no disclocations next Saturday at the spa.

Poor DF :(.

:lmao: I don't doubt it -- no one will be pushing anyone else for laughs. ;)

Seriously. All of the male cousins on his side of either had surgery on their shoulders or have had them dislocated, you think they would know to be careful! I always tease all of them, saying they have a genetic shoulder defect. I mean that in the nicest way possible. :goodvibes

Wow, the wedding is fast approaching!

I hope you have a wonderful time at the spa because it really sounds like you could use the relaxation. Try to enjoy yourself, you're in the home stretch! :goodvibes

I worked with a teacher who had dislocated her shoulder like 250 times in the course of her life. I wonder what causes that to happen? Loose joints or something, maybe? :confused3

I second TK's statement -- relax and enjoy the homestretch!!!

Apparently, most of them have problems with the way their shoulders are. Instead of it being jointed(? I don't know if that's the right word but all I can come up with) like a cup, it's like two plates rubbing together. At least that is how they explain it to me. DF did both of his while playing football in High School and hasn't happened since, but sometimes if he moves his arm/shoulders just right, he says it feels like it could pop out. Ehhh, it freaks me out. Probably because of Mel Gibson from Lethal Weapon. I used to cringe at that part!

Thanks. I will. I am feeling pretty good about everything, I am going to do the rehearsal invites and finish the wedding music on my ipod today. ::yes::

As promised, here are some pictures from the Wedding Guest/Scrapbook. Some of the pictures are not the greatest, but you get the gist.

This is an awful picture of the scrapbook, as you can see it is busting at the seams. I need to get some more post extenders.

This is one of my favorite pages. It has a picture that I had never seen of Marc and I.

One of the pages my mom did.

These two pages are from my college roommate. Yep, that's me licking Heath Ledger's poster sized face. Heath Ledger = LL's Heartthrob. I still get sad when I think about him.

There you have it. :bride: :groom:

I am happy to report that I finished the rehearsal invites, started packing our suitcases and have just plugged in the ipod to finish the music. Phew. :faint:

I love your scrapbook! I can't believe all those people did such a nice job, that's amazing! Talented friends and family! :thumbsup2

And on a side note, may I add that Heath Ledger's death hit me especially hard. I liked him as an actor, but he and I were born same month, same year, and both have small children.

When he died, I felt so awful. It reminded me that you never know.

And I've had huge buyer's remorse this past week about WL. But things like that make me not. Know what I mean?

I really didn't think it would turn out as amazing as it has. I am so happy that DF and I will have this for the rest of our lives to remember this day and our family.

My mom called me when I was driving home to tell me, I thought she was joking. I started crying. His death was very traumatic for me as well. Which sounds silly, but it just broke my heart. I still get angry at all the magazine articles about him, let the man rest in peace.

Don't have buyer's remorse. I know it's hard but it's going to be so worth it for the memorable vacation the TK Family is going to have. I have my moments of doubt as well, put you just have to push through them. If it wasn't possible to make the WL happen, you wouldn't have booked it in the first place, so now you just get to enjoy it. ::yes::

Thanks.

That was just the right thing to say, and you're right.
