I just feel so drained tonight, I keep telling myself to go to bed, but it just seems like so much effort to get up out of the computer chair.
I had grand plans of finishing the music, posting an update and making the labels for the tables at the wedding. Ugh.

Oh, don't you just get the best nights sleep after a swim and some fresh air? I love when my nana opens her pool in the summer...it's usually how I lose my last five pounds before Disney!!

Yes, my kids were getting way too hyper, and as soon as I was done with the dishes, I said, "Let's go!" I laid there and read while they got out all their excess energy. Now they are quiet -- whew!

I love the summer when we can go to the pool everyday!

Yep. I guess an afternoon crouched under a blanket fort and whispering created an excess of unspent hyperness. Now, they are playing Legos and hoping I forget about showers.

I just have to say I got the best nights sleep that I have had in MONTHS! I feel asleep before 10 which is so unlike me and slept till morning. Well, except for when Ruby Kitty woke me up while she was playing with my glasses at 1am. Silly cat, she thinks they are her toy. One morning I am going to wake up and not be able to find them.

Good morning! So glad to hear that you had a good night's sleep! I stayed up until 12, and now I am up again enjoying the quiet before everyone else wakes up.

Our cats do that, too, with Charles and Connor's glasses -- one morning we couldn't find Connor's glasses because one of them had knocked them off the bedside table.

It's so annoying! Ugh. Ruby turns 1 year tomorrow, and I am really hoping she starts to mellow out. We can't take anymore of her kitty antics. Though, we both said she would mellow out after she was fixed but that didn't happen either.....
She also knocked over the trash and ripped down the darkening shade we put over the bedroom windows for DF to sleep better during the day.

She will start to mellow out. We never thought Bagheera would and now he is just a lazy cat that occassionally bats at a cat toy.

Glad to hear you got some rest! Much needed, I might add. I feel better about my whole ADR debacle last night. For now, I'm letting sleeping dogs lie, kwim?

And, I find your cat story funny, because we don't currently have pets, but we do have a toddler who sees fit to come into my bedroom, take my glasses out of the case and hand them to me, saying "Wake up, Mama."
