It's a Jolly Holiday with LL. *FINISHED* Final Update on pg. 58.

Really love your Wilderness Lodge list! Chuck and I are hoping to stay there in December. (I have to wait until we get back from Pop Century. He'll be weak and ready to make reservations! :teeth: )
That is the best time to strike when they are weak! :rotfl:

Oh, I didn't realize that.

Have you done the CD before? I am wondering -- if you do the CD can you just take it to someplace like Target to get the prints done, or do you still have to purchase the prints through Disney?
You are given the rights to your pictures if you purchase the CD. The way I understand it, is that on the CD there is a document to print out that gives you the rights, that you can bring to someplace like Target to print out.

Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier, we were having a little bbq just the three of us...very nice.:goodvibes

Yes, we've gotten the cd before multiple times. I prefer Walgreens for my print development and usually load the CD onto my computer, and then upload my desired prints onto the Walgreens website and do it that way. You absolutely do not have to purchase the prints through Disney. Once you purchase the CD, the copyright to those images belongs to you, so you can do with them what you wish. On trips I take with my mom, we usually split the cost, which makes it very affordable. And just to give you an idea of how much we like it...even though we're only going for three days in December, we'll be pre-purchasing. I can't miss out on all those pp holiday opportunities! Besides, LL told me I had to come back with beaucoup photgraphic evidence.

I am eagerly waiting for your review when you get back. :goodvibes

Me too!

Speaking of your trip in December...are you going to the Christmas Party?? I wasn't sure since you are there so few days.
I'm glad you have had good luck with the CD. I plan to upload my pics to snapfish or something like that to have them printed out. I can't wait! Have I asked this before..., have you ever done one of the photo sessions they offer at GF and now Poly? They are rumored to begin them at WL and am hoping that they will before our trip.

As a matter of fact, mom and I were having this very debate today. We really, really want to see Epcot all decked out for the holidays, the special Illuminations, and the resort hotels. Oh, and the Osbourne lights at MGM are supposed to be awesome. We plan to do a day at the MK, but we don't know if we want to spend a whole evening at a party. I know people think it's wonderful, but I almost want to save it for a future trip, because if I did it, I might not make it to another signature dinner, which I really want to do without DS. So the long answer...we're undecided.

Alright, if they did them at the WL, I would soooo be into that. I've never done one before, but if it were at our hotel, which would be so easy to get to and keep the little nut looking handsome and tidy, I would so be all over that. I'd love a good family portrait.:thumbsup2

I understand that. Just gives you a reason to plan a December trip in the future with the TK Family.

I think we are going to do one anyways...but I would be especially excited if they did start them at WL. If they didn't, I am not sure what resort I would pick, GF or Poly.

In light of the fact that you're getting married this year, I would totally go with the GF if it's available. I saw a family getting pictures done there (didn't know what it was at the time) and they looked like they would be gorgeous. They were across from the monorail, with the huge lobby behind them as a backdrop. I love the GF, I've stayed at both places, and for beautiful pictures, I would pick it hands down over the Poly. But, to each their own...if you want something tropical, the Poly could be totally fun and relaxing, and if you want to get away from the wedding feeling, you could just have fun with it.:goodvibes

I am more drawn to the GF pictures than the few Poly ones I have seen. I really like the ones they do around a fountain at GF. I know for sure that I don't want any hammock pictures, that just wouldn't be attractive!! :rotfl2:
This is the photo thread that I have been looking at. Some of the pictures are great. I think the $25 sitting fee is completely reasonable. http://http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1703832

And I am eagerly awaiting being able to give it! :goodvibes

That would be so worth it to me!

Me too!

So, you've never had a problem getting prints online through Walgreens?

I am "this close" (visualize my fingers mere millimeters apart) to ordering it tonight. I have been hankering to spend money on Disney all day long!

Do it! Do it! Do it! Do it! :hyper:

That is the true purpose of the DIS.

This :hyper: has become my favorite smilie because everytime I think about our trip, that is how I feel on the inside.

Yes, really the DIS is a big cult of Disney addicts! :rotfl2:

That's the way I feel too! Only it tends to keep me from focusing on things like laundry! ::yes::

Bleck. I am happy to report that I did nothing today. Absolutely nothing. I did go grocery shopping yesterday but even that wasn't too strenuous. I know the next four weekends before the Wedding are probably going to be busy with last minute stuff. Today was nice. :goodvibes

We all need a nothing day, and you need to save up energy for the wedding preparations. We pretty much had a nothing weekend, but we needed it after the last couple of weeks of school. It was lovely to lay around and do whatever we felt like.

I missed some good chatter last night! I stayed up late to watch Jon & Kate plus 8 go to Disneyworld and that was an adorable episode. Then, of course, DS decided to wake up at 530. Ah, joy. And I still need to go work out before DH leaves for work. What fun is.

Anyway, CP, totally order the cd. I really think you'll find it to be worth it, and if not you can so get your money back. I've never had a problem getting the photos printed and we've done it about 2 or 3 times, I believe.

LL, you need a relaxation day for sure. Especially with everything coming up! :goodvibes

I love love love Jon & Kate Plus 8. I have seen that episode before and agree it was adorable. :goodvibes

Thanks. Yesterday was relaxing until I woke up 30 minutes before I needed to be at work this morning. My stupid cat unplugged my alarm...grrrr :furious:

Yikes! :scared1: I don't know which is worse, your cat unplugging your alarm or my child waking me up in the wee hours...:lmao:

I think I will -- I am going to order it right before we go -- I don't want any unnecessary expenses to arise that will make me regret the purchase.

Oh, that's not a good way to wake up. Whenever I oversleep I feel rattled the rest of the morning.

Stupid cat. Let me just tell you about my day with the cat yesterday. Ruby (the younger one) is touched in the head. She has taken to sleeping on the bath mat in the bathroom, well yesterday she was leaving the bathroom as I was closing the door....I caught her tail in the door. I have never heard such a loud screech. It was bent! I am freaking out, she won't let me pick her up, it took about 10 minutes to get her to let me check it out, it was fine. Twenty minutes later, I am baking potatoes, I open the over door, stupid Ruby jumps up onto the open oven door, she screeches again....durrr. I check out her little foot pads, they seem fine. I was walking in the hall later on, and I step on her because she likes to walk between my feet. She screeches again. Then she knocks over DF bass because she likes to climb up the case. She was going absolutely nuts as I was trying to fall asleep. Ugh. I was hoping she would calm down soon but it seems to be going the opposite way. Sulley just looks at her and all of her shenanigans like he is absolutely disgusted. :faint:
