It's a great big beautiful tomorrow

WE LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I went in May with a friend of mine, she really disliked it, so much so that the whole trip she was making jokes about how I have to make it up to her for making her do it.

Well said Mickey's Sister!

Optomistic, hopeful, family-centered and forward looking - that is the Carousel of Progress. Pure, heartfelt Disney magic! Walt's wonderful legacy. :earsboy:

We absotutenlutely love it!!!!!!
How could you not love the history, etc.,etc. ... !!! At the very least ... the calm and the cool.
Long may it live! This is one attraction that should NEVER go!
(gee ... do you think I am a fan? :goodvibes )

My whole family loves this attraction! It's fun and it's also a great place to get off your feet for a break!

I love the Carousel of Progress and have since the first time i went in 1978. NO one i know can understand why i love it so much. I guess you have to be a COP lover to understand!!

COP is easily one of my fav rides in MK, and has been since I was a wee young lad. It's funny. I remember absolutely loving that ride long before I even really knew what it was all about.

Anyway, when my GF and I took our first trip together to WDW in Jan, we went on it, and at first she thought it was going to be lame/hookey but by the end, it had become one of her favorite rides and we walked around singing that song for the rest of the trip.

Granted, the last scene could use a little work, but that part of the fun.

I love COP and Its a Small World!!!!!! These are rides that make WDW the most magical place on earth. :jumping1: You can get thrill rides at many parks but only at WDW can you get the magic. Does anyone know if it will be open all summer and if it has limited hours?

The Carousel of Progress is my all time favorite ride. when I took my SIL on it, she said " i want the last fifteen minutes of my life back"!
Any COP lovers out there?

I can't believe she said that!!!!!!!!!! We love it...even my 7 year old, in fact, he will go around the house singing the song...

My kids (and I) really enjoyed it. Sure, it's a little on the hokey side, but even my seven-year-old appreciated that it was one of Walt's favorite attractions (he has read a lot about Disney and is startlingly in awe of Walt). So my 17-year-old liked it, as did my seven-year-old.
