It's a great big beautiful tomorrow

I adore COP. And hate when it is closed in December.
It is a grand Disney tradition and I hope they always keep it.
Plus last week, it was a great place to go and cool off.

When I was younger, I would have said the same thing about wanting the last 15 minutes of my life back when I was on COP. I always used it has an opportunity to take a quick nap. That was then. Now, I really enjoy COP and hope that they keep it around.

COP is the only ride that brings a smile to my face as soon as I walk in. I brings back a lot of beautiful memories of past trips with my parents when I was a child. :goodvibes

Hi all,
I love the cop!!!!Last trip ds sang the theme song for around a week.

I love the COP! So funny cause my BF was just telling me how much he enjoyed it and was trying to remember the song :goodvibes

I am a big fan of the COP, and have been since my first trip in the seventies as a child. Now, I look forward to sharing it with my wife and daughter on our upcoming trip. Like some others have said, the COP is "true" Walt Disney !

I have loved COP since the NY World Fair in 64-65 I must have ridden it about 20 times there and continued going to it starting on my first visit to WDW 18 years ago
I enjoy comparing the changes in the displays as we progress through time
Also the song is one that never leaves you and you find yourself humming it for days afterwards
It is one of the great all time Disney songs along with "its a small world"
(which interestingly enough was also first built for the world's fair, maybe they don't write songs anymore like they used to.
I'll be in WDW in 2 weeks for my 5th visit and COP is definately a must see

COP, for some strange reason, is one of my favorite attractions in all of WDW.
I mean com'on, sing it with me...

There's a great big beautiful tomorrow
Shining at the end of ev'ryday
There's a great big beautiful tomorrow
And tomorrow's just a dream away

Man has a dream and that's the start
He follows his dream with mind and heart
And when it becomes a reality
It's a dream come true for you and me

So there's a great big beautiful tomorrow
Shining at the end of ev'ryday
There's a great big beautiful tomorrow
Just a dream away

How could that not make anyone feel pretty darn good inside?

I love COP, I see it everytime I go to MK without fail, because I know someday, it won't be there anymore. And you want to hear something really cool? When I was a kid, I absolutely loved the show, don't know why, maybe it was the dog licking the water from the ice box, who knows? But now that I have a son, it is one of the coolest things in the world to take him to see it and see his reaction to it, watch the little gears spin around in his head. He was sitting there clappin to the music with me. He loves it as much as I do!

So I say go and see it and enjoy it while it lasts.

I had just turned 18, graduated from high school, gone thru Navy Basic Training in Bainbridge, Maryland, and was on my own for the first time in my life! This country girl headed for the World's Fair before reporting for duty in Va.! The first thing I did was see my first pair of pantyhose(!) and then headed for COP! There was a HUGE crowd there and alot of excitement. In the middle of the crowd, was WALT DISNEY!!! I could not get really close enough to see him through my own eyes, but, people were yelling "HI YA WALT!" so I am pretty sure that was him. So each time I ride COP, I remember and believe I saw Mr. Disney!!!!! That is really when I fell in love with anything Disney!!! It started my obsession!!!! :rotfl: pixiedust:

ME and my DD love it !!! It is a traditional Disney attraction ( I will admit they do need to update it)
However my DH falls asleep everytime... but I always elbow him to get up :thumbsup2

Great Story!

We like it....guess I wouldn't want to go twice in one trip, but I think it is neat for the kids to get to see the progress......

We love COP....what a great show!!! We sing along with the show and then for the rest of the year....it is very catchy! I will be so so so disappointed if they ever get rid of it.

I don't love this ride but I do have great memories of it. I stopped at WDW for one night with my dad one time - New Years Eve - and COP was one of the few rides that we were able to ride that didn't have a ridiculous wait.

I'm sorry to say this.. but if you don't love the COP then there is something wrong with you!

You shoulda told her that it was 20 min not 15. ;)
