The Carousel of Progress is my all time favorite ride. when I took my SIL on it, she said " i want the last fifteen minutes of my life back"!
Any COP lovers out there?

My whole family loves it! It's one of our favorites and the last two times we went to WDW, it wasn't open! We were SO bummed! But we went last week and it was open. I love it because it's Walt Disney's, and because it's just plain fun to go through. I do think it should be updated and made more "futuristic." The stuff they have in it now in the last segment is all real stuff. I think they should do 1900, 1950, 2000, and then 2050 -- something like that. But even if they never change it, I will always love it.

We absolutely love that attraction. My three year old even sits through it each time and she sings the song too!

Love it..love it...love it! It's the ride I remember the most on my first trip to WDW in '75. My Pop (Grandfather) and his GF took me with them to WDW..my first plane trip and the start of my lifelong love of Disney. Whenever I go to COP with my DW & DS I always think of my Pop

It was ok. Once a trip maybe. I sure wouldn't be sad if they put something else in there.

It was O.K. DH and kids disliked it -- It was my idea to ride it, as I was a little sentimental, having ridden it 30 years ago with parents and siblings. The theater is so neat, but that last updated room is lacking. It is classic Disney, but I wouldn't ride it during every vacation. Same goes for the Tiki Room. Now, the TTA, that's a must do!!

I agree with an earlier post. I love it because it was Walt's!!! So few things are "original" in the parks, and I for one think they need to keep CoP forever.

If they want to add to it, fine, but leave the rest as it is.
