It's 1 p.m. at the Magic Kingdom

Spring Breaks vary dramatically throughout the country. Here in my part of North Texas, they've been over for a whole month. My kids are preschoolers and we're leaving tomorrow.

Same in the KC area. It really does depend on where you live.

We are on spring break right now from West Virginia and are here at Disney. Yesterday at the MK it was an expected crazy busy I don't know how it wasn't at capacity parking lots were full and they were parking vehicles in the grass everywhere I wish my phone wasn't dead cause I would of taken pictures. We have been to the parks all week before opening it pays to get up early especially for MK we are staying offsite,it has been crowded but manageable so far.

We were at MK this Wednesday as well (we are on spring break in NY) and it was CRAZY crowded in the afternoon. We left to go to EP around 1 pm and literally thousands of people were pouring in from the TTC on the ferry boats. We could barely walk down Main St. to get out of the park. Standby wait times were like nothing I've ever seen - 40 minutes for Barnstormer, 140 minutes for BTMRR, etc. We arrived around 8 am and did everything we wanted to do with FP+ and standby with little waiting, but by noon, CRAZINESS! Once we got to EP, the standby lines were also long - 35 minutes for Living with the Land! - but it didn't feel as crowded as the walkways are much wider. Yes, rule of thumb - get there early!

OP, wait times couldn't be '12 minutes longer' because they are measured in 5-minute increments. Typo? :scratchin

35 minutes for Living With The Land? I haven't seen *that* since the 90's! I still love that ride, though.

In Mexico every school has this week and next off and I know quite a few families that were or are heading for Orlando on these days.

Those were actual wait times I was using.

And I wasn't trying to extrapolate anything from it, I just found it unusual. Glad IASW has seen a huge increase in popularity again.
