Day two is pretty uneventful as we were all exhausted! It took 37.5 hours to get from our house to the villa and I hadn't slept at all due to being worried about the kids etc.

We made our way from the airport - thank goodness for the Tom Tom, DH and I stopped off at Wendy's and got some 99c chicken sandwiches, Terry and Lou went straight to the villa. Once we got to the house we went straight to bed and grabbed a couple of hours of shut eye.

We got up around 4pm and went out to Costco to buy our bulk supplies, we were staying for 3 weeks and there were 6 of us so we thought we would be able to get through bulk stuff.

We also stopped by Walmart to pick up Mountain Dew!!!! I was craving it! :goodvibes Couldn't wait. We bought the usual odds and sods and then headed back to the villa to unpack. We were going to to go out again to eat but everyone was still tired so we decided to just stay in the house and relax.

The kids went to bed and it wasn't long before we all joined them.

Sorry there are no pictures today!

Supplies and sleep sounds like the right way to do things. Then you can tackle tomorrow fresh and raring to go.

Not the start you wanted - but at least you are there now and after today hopefully raring to go:thumbsup2

What a horrible start to your holiday. We had a 10 hour delay once, which was bad enough, but at least we got there the same day (just) and our children were adults. It must have been a nightmare with young ones.

Mountain Dew :cloud9:

We've even ordered it [twice] from americansweets.co.uk *** we all love it so much :rotfl2:

me thinks I need to sample this mountain dew drink :thumbsup2

I am amazed that you were able to go shopping.

37 hours without sleep. :scared1: What a nightmare journey. Hope it was all 'worth it'.;)

What an awful start to your holiday, it really must have been hard work, I can't even imagine! But now you have sleep and Mountain Dew..... so all is well with the world ;)

Dont blame you for catching up on your sleep, the holiday can begin properly the next day:goodvibes

luckily you were staying for three weeks. if it had only been for a week it would have been sooooo awful to lose a day.

I had to google Mountain Dew as I had no idea what it was :rolleyes1

Think you did well today considering the previous days travel :)

Sounds like the day was just what you all needed.

Laur's xx

Sounds like much needed sleep but having three weeks you can allow for a few rest days.

My DH loves Mountain Dew but I can't stand it. They have it in bulk in the shops here.

I don't blame you for spending today just chilling and getting the supplies in :thumbsup2
