This is the first time that I've ever planned at WDW trip. I've been to WDW over 20 times (incuding a 2 1/2 week trip this past summer.) Please give me your opinion if I overdid it. Just FYI... we plan on sharing our meals (order 2 meals + appetizers for 2 adult women and 2-14 yr old girls.)

We arrive late on Wednesday 11/17.
11/18 - Magic Kingdom (no PS)
11/19 - Epcot
(12:00 Biergarten and 7pm Garden Grill)
11/20 - MGM --- Spectacle of PINS
( 12:00 Mama Melrose and 5:15pm Prime Time)
11/21 - Go Wherever (maybe DTD)
( 5:40 pm Chef Mickey's)
11/22 - Animal Kingdom @ opening - then Epcot
( 6pm - 9 dragons)
11/23 - Go Wherever
(8am - Crystal Palace and 2pm Japan)
11/24 - CRT breakfast... play @ MK... leave for airport @ 4pm.

Is this too many meals packed in?
We can rest if we need to... take naps or stay in the parks all day if we feel like it... Please give me your opinion!

It looks like a great plan! Just curious, are you staying on-site? I noticed that you didn't include any resort restaurants (except Chef Mickey's) in your itinerary.

We're staying at Pop Century for this trip... it's my first time staying here. I was a little worried (We usually stay in the one bedroom villa at OKW) but I'm getting excited at the prospect of seeing the value resorts (I've never even seen them)... it's a new side of disney that I've never experienced. WOOHOO!!!

I'm considering changing the CP PS to the first day that we're there.... I'm thinking that a character breakfast might be a nice way to start out our trip, especially since one of the girls has never been to WDW.

I think changing your CP PS to the first full day of your trip sounds like a good plan -- especially since you are planning on going to MK that day anyway. It will be a fun way to start a great vacation! Also, since 11/23 is your Go Wherever day, changing your CP PS to 11/18 will free you up to really "Go Wherever" on the 23rd. You won't be tied down to an early morning PS in MK. Keep in mind that it's a bit of a hike from Pop Century, and you'll have to give yourself some travel time -- and early mornings might be tough with two teenagers. ;)

I'm lucky that one teenager is almost as much of a disney fanatic as I am... and the other has never been and she is very very excited. We love the early mornings when the parks are the least crowded... my sister and I can get just about any park done in the first 4 hours that it is open - of course we already know which attractions are a must see.

Does anyone have an opinion on the rest of the trip... I'm getting a little nervous that there's going to be too much eating and/or we're going to be spending too much time planning our day around our PS.
Thanks-

Can you over-plan??:teeth:
I think it looks great...you will see a wide variety of planning styles from up to the minute spread sheets to "just show up and do whatever." I think most of us fall somewhere in the middle...We plan our meals and what park we are going to be in on any given day. My advice is to be flexible with your plan and if things don't go exactly the way you thought they would, remember that you are on vacation and go with the flow...
