we only have about 9 days 'til Disney! Whoohoo! It's DF's first time, so I'm trying to hit all the high points for him. I'm not too worried about planning out what ride to do when, because I've heard this time in January is a good time to pretty much walk on to rides. Here's what I have so far:

Sunday - Get into AKL about 6:30. Have 7:30 PS at Boma. Spend the rest of the night exploring the grounds, doing the night vision goggles, maybe the scavenger hunt, etc. :)

Monday - MK! PS at CP at 8:25. From there, do Adventureland and work our way around. I am SO excited about this, because although I've been there more than 10 times, I've never done MK not army-commando style before. I've NEVER been to Tom Sawyer's Island, Snow White or Pooh. No plans for lunch, because I imagine we'll be stuffed from breakfast. Snacks will do. :) 8:00 PS at
'Ohana to coincide (hopefully) with Wishes, also at 8.

Tuesday - Grab breakfast at Mara; move stuff to Pop Century (I have heard they let you store luggage if you arrive before check-in). Head to MGM. Lunch at Commissary or Pizza Planet, although I'd really like to do SciFi. Does anyone think SciFi is a must-do?? Our other Must-Dos: Muppets, ToT, RNR, Star Tours, Indiana Jones, Great Movie Ride, Magic of Disney Animation. DF was an art major, so he will love this. I would love if DF could meet Chewbacca or the Stormtroopers, but I've never actually seen him walking around. It would be nice to see Kermit, too, and I would personally love to see Kuzco. :) 7:00 Fantasmic. Evening - probably DTD/Marketplace. Cannot wait to buy Haunted Mansion Clue and check out the toy store and pet store! Will probably grab dinner there somewhere. Possibly Rainforest.

Wednesday - Breakfast at PC. Go to AK. Lunch at Tusker House or FTB (recommendations?). I will definitely be having a frozen banana! Can't wait for DF to see It's Tough to Be a Bug! That's it for Wednesday - maybe we will go back to Pop for some down time and then go to Pleasure Island in the evening. I've never been in the Adventurer's Club as an adult, so that should be a blast.

Thursday - Breakfast at PC, then on to EPCOT. Don't know where we'll do lunch; somewhere in Future World, probably. Dinner will be either at the Tangeriene Cafe or Yakitori House. EPCOT has extra evening hours that night, so I intend to just go through each thing (starting with Future World) and take our time doing everything! I also want to try a beaver tail I've heard so much about.

Friday -Breakfast at Kona Cafe. Then on to Disney Quest! This will also be a new experience for me- sounds like tons of fun. Think DF will really like this one. Lunch at Beaches 'N Cream. No evening plans - we will have a rental car so we might see if we can get to the beach, even though it will probably be too chilly for swimming. Could also be a good evening for miniature golf!

We leave Saturday, so that's about it! Any suggestions? Things that I have left off that we Must Do? Things that would make life easier?

Thanks!!

I think your plans are great. MGM - I recommend 50's Prime Time 1st choice, SciFi 2nd choice, Pizza Planet 3rd choice. Don't miss the Stars & Motor Cars parade - I'm pretty sure you'll see Chewbacca. Also, you might want to schedule time for B&TB. You should have no problem doing everything you want to do at MGM in one day. EPCOT - I recommend Tangerine over Yakitori. Don't miss Ice Station Cool in FW. MK - if you do get hungry, I recommend Pecos Bills. Don't forget a Dole Whip! On your last day it might be fun to go to Fort Wilderness. You could eat at Trails End, go on a hayride, have s'mores at a campfire sing-a-long with Chip & Dale & then watch a movie. Not just for kids ya know - for those young at heart. Then you could probably catch the Electric Water Pageant! Would be a fun thing for your final day!
Have a great time!
