So we will be in Disneyworld 4/16-4/24 I am trying to fit in Pirates & Pals one night, which night would you choose from this list? My thoughts were either day 3 the first epcot day or day 5 the water park day.
Any advice from disney pro's would be great thank you.

day 1---dtd
day 2---mk tomorrow land/fantasyland
day 3---epcot future world and some of world showcase
day 4---animal kingdom
day 5---typhoon lagoon (rest day)
day 6---mk liberty sq, adventureland and frontierland
day 7---epcot later start some of future world/world showcase
day 8---hs
day 9----mk morning before going home.....

I think 5 also. Water park days are not as long as park days and give you some downtime before a later evening. It is a great fun evening and cruise, you'll all enjoy it.

thank you that was my thought as well.....

When we did it on our last trip we did it on our AK day, went to AK during the day then took a bus from there directly to the contemporary. Keep in mind how late you will be out for that cruise, you may want to plan a late morning the next day, cause if the fireworks are scheduled at 9 or 930, then you still have to wait for the boat to get back to the dock, then the M&G with Peter, then a bus back to your resort before getting to bed. It looks like if you did it on your AK day then you could do a late morning at the water park instead of your late morning being on an MK day. just my 2 cents

this sounds like a great idea. so there is a bus directly from Animal Kingdom to the Contemporary?

That sounds like a good plan also.

Yes, there is a bus from AK to Contemporary. Also, remember that after the cruise, unless you are staying at the Contemporary, you will need transportation back to your resort. If I recall, I think we walked back to the MK bus depot and took our bus from there, as there is no resort to resort bus service.

How far would you say the walk is to the MK bus depot from the contemporary? and thanks this is all great advice.

Yes that is what we did also, after getting back to the boat dock at the end of the night we walked over to the MK bus stop and hopped on a bus to Pop. It is about 10 to 15 minutes depending on how fast you walk. And yes there is a bus directly from AK to Contemporary.

I want to say the night we did it it was almost midnight by the time we got back to our room. BUT our fireworks were delayed because of fog and we sat out on the lake for what seemed like forever, I think it was only 20 or 30 minutes late with the fireworks but it sure seemed longer to us cause it was cold. We had an early MK day the next morning that ended up being not as early as I had wanted. Glad someone else can learn from my mistake!

And someone can correct me if I'm wrong but if I recall correctly we walked from the boat dock, through the contemporary's lobby, and out the front door. Then we turned right and went past the contemporary bus stop and walked on the nice sidewalk all the way over to the MK bus stop.

Yes, that is the correct route.
