OK - guess I need some experienced feedback on my planned itinerary and whether I'm trying too hard and being unrealistic.

Going 6/22 - 6/28/04. Myself, DH, DD 18, DD22, GS 4. Planning on buying 5 day PH, 1 day at US and 1 day of "nothing" in middle.

6/22 - Leave Detroit at 7:25 am - arrive MCO at 9:55a. Taking towncar with grocery stop and staying at ASMo. Even if room not ready - figured we'd be at resort and possibly checked in by 12:00 noon (?) Wanted to get settled and then go to MK. Stay however long the group feels comfortable.

6/23 - Want 8:30 PS at Donald's Breakfastosaurus (I know I can't make PS for a coupldemore weeks yet). Spend rest of day at AK.(knowing we can park hop if needed)

6/24 - Go to Universal for the day

6/25 - Down day - swim, shop, DTD, whatever. Figured try to "recoup" from last couple of long days. Already have PS for 5:00 HDDMR.

6/26 - EMH at MGM - again stay the day or park hop if needed.

6/27 - Day at Epcot - ditto above

6/28 - check out of resort, store bags - go back to MK could stay until around 4:00 - head back to resort. Towncar picking us up at 5:00 for a 7:25 pm flight home.

I'm sure this is probably over zealous and I welcome any comments/suggestions? We were only at Disney once before - about 10 years ago and only had 3 days and saw MK, MGM and TL.

By the way - I plan on coming back to the resort mid-day (after hearing this over and over on these posts) for a quiet time, rest for all of us - but especially grandson.

So - I'd appreciate some kind of feedback. Thankx

I think it looks pretty good Grammagail. You are smart to include a day off, and some break time each day from the parks. With your DGS age 4, that is smart. I think you can get checked in Noon-ish, but you may not be able to get into your room till around 4pm. They will check your bags, and I believe your groceries(might want to double check that). We would skip US, but we're Disney loyalists:earsboy: Don't forget the sunscreen, and to drink plenty of water. June is a hot time in Central Fla. You might want to make some additional PSs. That's a busy time at WDW, and the last thing you want is to be desperate for a good meal and find out everything is full.

I think your plan looks great!! If you park hop just make sure you see Fantasmic at MGM and Illuminations at Epcot.

Which Universal park are you planning on attending? There are two theme parks and it takes a good 2 days to really see both. IOA has more thrill rides, while Universal Studios has more movie themed attractions. I believe there is a two park/one day ticket available. Check the Universal boards on this site.

Have fun.
