I've read of many people having bottle water and/or snacks shipped to their resort ahead of time by ordering them online. We will be in a BWV, so will have a mini-fridge, toaster, microwave, etc I'm starting to wonder what else we could order to have shipped to our room. We'll probably do breakfast in the room pretty often with our 15 month old, but won't be cooking any meals there.

Has anyone ever ordered diapers/wipes & had them delivered? Or is it better to bring these in your luggage? I'd love to see anyone's list of stuff they have ordered & had shipped for their stays! :)

we brought diapers and wipes last time we went and this time will be having them delivered in advance. it's way too much hassle to have to lug all of that in your suitcase if you can avoid it. we are flying so it's especially important to us to minimize our size/weight when packing the suitcases.

I ordered PJs and a Cinderella costume to be delivered to the resort (not enough time to reach home before we left). Forgot to ask for the package when we checked-in. It was on the bed alone with our luggage from DME when we got back from DTD and dinner. Disney is the BEST!

Thanks for the tips so far - I'm thinking water & diapers/wipes will be definite musts to have shipped down with all the new luggage charges/restrictions since we last flew.

Is there a website for ordering these items you all recommend?

We had water, diapers, wipes and some groceries (Cheerios, crackers, and other breakfast/snack items) delivered last time. It worked out really well. We used gardengrocer.com. They were great. They even found a few specialty items we needed due to food allergies. One item was left off our order and after contacting them it was delivered right away. Great service!

We were there for 12 days on our last trip. I brought a package of pull-ups with me, plus ordered a package... (can't take a chance of not having them.)

We also ordered water, soda, juice boxes, and some quick breakfast items... pop-tarts, granola bars, etc., for the kids to eat in the morning while we were getting ready.

We used We Go Shop and were very happy with their service.

DH and I have looked at the prices to have a case of water, diapers & wipes delivered for DD, and it didn't seem like the delivery fees that were required for Garden Grocer made it worth our while.

We're flying Southwest, so we get 2 pieces of checked luggage each, and 2 carry on's each.

There are 3 adults travelling, so between the 3 of us I know we will have enough room in our luggage for the diapers & wipes.

The water we are having delivered from Sam's Club or Costco.

Like many of the other posters, I shipped down diapers, swim diapers, wipes and pull-ups (my DS was in between diapers and pullups). I filled up the rest of the box with other lightweight items (to keep costs down) such as Tinkerbell gifts, consruction papers, stickers, crayons, medications, etc.

We were also in a BWV and I ordered supplies from GardenGrocer to prepare breakfast. I had milk, juice, oatmeal, bananas, frozen waffles, cereal, eggs, english muffins and cream cheese delivered. I was very happy with the service. I also ordered snacks to bring to the parks, such as goldfish, small snack packs, etc.

That is a great selection of food. We are going to BWI (which I hope has a fridge so I am told!). Did you have to wait for groceries or were they there when you arrived?

We are staying at ASMu Suites for 2 weeks and was wondering if anyone had ideas. I would like to fill some meals as dining out gets old and expensive fast. Breakfast I can figure out, it is dinner that I am having a hard time coming up with ideas.

Our groceries were available when we arrived. I believe that when I ordered from Garden Grocer, I had to give an ETA. The cold/frozen items were kept cold/frozen by the Bell Stand. Kudos to everyone involved.

We also planned to have a few meals (other than breakfast) in the room since I thought dinner/lunch out every day would be too much for my DS3. I didnt' want to "cook" on vacation (although I always do at home) so I picked easy things to make.

I ordered PB, Jelly and Bread, Sliced cheese (for grilled cheese) and boxes of Mac and Cheese. Not the most exciting or nutritious but it was food I knew my son would eat without coaxing and that would be easy to order, store, cook and clean up after.

Thanks for suggestions. I would also like to add some in room foods. I am thinking Easy Mac, Chef Boy R D, canned soup. Anything else anyone can think of?

I agree that it is not the most nutritious but neither is chicken nuggets and french fries, which they would wind up eating more of it we didn't eat some things in the room.
