Italy restaurant

I saw that the restaurant in Italy is closing on August 31. Are there any plans to replace it? It would be a shame to have Italy with no Italian food...mmmmm. I'm going in December and was planning on taking my gf there for dinner and the candlelight procession and then a proposal.

Alfredo's is closing Friday, August 31 and will reopen on Saturday, September 1 as Tutto Italia.

Then in the Spring of 2008 Tutto Italia will close for a major refurb and reopen in the Fall of 2008 with a new name.

Thanks!!! So they're basically just renaming the place and possibly changing the menus, I'm assuming. Good to know it'll be open when I'm there in December.

When I called today, they were taking reservations at the Italian place for candlelight procession only. So you may want to give them a call.

They are not really just renaming the place, because a new company is taking over, and will be serving their own signature dishes, so yes, I assume there will be a complete menu change, and eventually changes in decor too, but don't see how they can accomplish that too much overnight...I suppose all the pictures of Alfredo and dignitaries and celebrities will come off the wall overnight though!

We have reservations there in Nov. for the CP package, and it was listed as third tier so I think the pricing will probably be similar to Alfredo's. Looking forward to trying it out, but I will miss Alfredo's alfredo!

We asked yesterday about the Rest. in Italy when we found out that our reservation for Japan was a no-go due to the refurb. The CM I spoke with informed me that they were not taking reservations for Italy until Oct. 2008!
