Italy-restaurant?

I noticed a long line outside Alfredo's the last time I was in Epcot. It seemed people were standing in line for some restaurant, like they had to wait to be seated by standing in line.
Any ideas what this is?

Hmm, well I know even when we have ADRs there for when they first open, there's usually quite a wait. Italian food is very popular in general and Alfredo's is delicious and authentic, so I'm guessing the wait is just the wait to be seated!

When we were there last June we had an ADR at dinner and we walked up and there was a LONG line as you are describing, I almost waited in it but was glad I didn't. Turned out if you already had an ADR you could go inside and check in, they were having people wait there to get a table outside for Alfredo's, the wait seemed VERY long, glad we made ADR's and ate inside, it was hot that night!

Yep, we stood in that line for about 5 minutes before realizing that was the STAND BY line for people without reservations. You go inside if you have a reservation and are seated immediately if not soon thereafter =)

They make you wait in line for an outside table even if you have an ADR. We LOVE sitting outside so we always make our ADR's at noon right when they open so we don't have to wait.

We had reservations at Alfredo's on Friday May 4th. I also stood in that line for about 5 minutes until a CM came and asked for anyone who had ADRs.
