Italy in Epcot

Hmmmmm...you know? I don't think they do. The last time I was actually in the shops at Italy I didn't notice those sorts of statues. They had some Armani types, but none of David.

I'm actually really looking forward to spending more time in Italy at EPCOT on our next trip. Is the restaurant good? What kind of cool stuff is there to do/see/buy at italy?

I thought the restaurant was good. The waiter really liked that I spoke (tourist)Italian with him...hey at least I tried! :goodvibes

To echo the above reply, no I haven't seen him there.

As far as touring the pavillion goes, I really miss the Living Statue show. That was funny. I think the World Showcase Players do something here now, instead. I've never been to Alfredo's, but my aunt was there in February and loved it. If it helps, she was born in Sicily and owns an Italian resturant in our hometown, so she's pretty critical. DH and I have wanted to try it, just haven't made it there yet.

Have Fun!

Italy Alfredos.. hope I spelled that right.. is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! I have ate there many of times... the only thing that I think tops it is BOMAS for dinner!

Alfredo's is terrific! If you like pasta, make sure you go. As fas as the stores, you can get perfume & cologne, jewelry, glass art, cooking items, chocolate, and - of course - wine. We buy a couple of glasses of wine and go across the main drag to sit by the water in the afternoon for a couple of minutes to relax.
