We are hoping that this luncheon, at Tutto Gusto, would return after the pandemic. Food Blog shows it would be on Wednesdays with a price with" 2023 dates TBD". No info on official Disney site. Am I wasting my time continuing to check for dates? My sixty day dining window opens on this Wednesday & having the luncheon would eliminate the need for dinner on that night. Thanks.

F & W has just morphed into another almost year-long Epcot festival with the food booths and C-list concerts, with only the merchandise to identify which festival is going on at the time. I wouldn't hold out hope for them to schedule anything special like they used to do in the past.

It is endless it seems. Food didn't do anything for us last year. It used to be a must do for dinner years ago. We would spend 2 nights grabbing food vs going for a sit down dinner. It used to be really good. Last year I tried 4 booths and gave up. Kinda sad cause it used to be awesome!

No more special dinners at venues around The World. No more cooking demos or mixology seminars in the Festival Center. No more Festival Center, for that matter. No more "parties." No more reason to go there anymore, since you can do the same things at just about any other day at Epcot during the year.

Forgot about that stuff. I sent my parents to a dinner seminar for food and wine pairing. My dad was blown away by it I remember. He collects wine and we are a foodie family. My mom and wife are killer cooks. This was one of those things he would never do for himself so I booked it. Holy cow it was expensive but man he was loving life that day my mom said. lol I miss those things. The groups were small too.

Yes, nothing special anymore these days. It’s all on auto-pilot. I loved the specialty lunches, the Grand Marniet seminar at Bistro de Paris (now M. Paul), the special dinners at the resorts with their executive chefs, the list goes on. I could create an itinerary with a different event every night for a week.

Sadly, none of those have returned. We loved the ones at Mexico, Italy, Morocco, France. At this point, I don't think we will see them return, but hoping I'm wrong.

The "Party for the Senses" was one of our families favorite events ever. It's so sad that so many of these events have not returned at all. I agree with others that the food booths for F & W are just phoning it in. You could be at any festival in Epcot. What made F & W special were all of the events.

Sort of unrelated but I think it is so odd that they still call it the food and wine festival when there is very very little wine at the booths. Mostly beers, ciders, and cocktails with a few random wines at some of the booths. Maybe there was more of a wine focus back when they had the extra events?
