Italian Mask Rules

Italy's current mask rules (including international flights and other public transportation) are due to be reviewed this week. For those who are interested there is an update (sort of, mostly speculation on what might happen) in this article:

Masks no longer required on flights in Italy. FFP2 masks (filtration rating of 94% or higher, eg. KF94 or N95) remain required on other forms of public transit (eg. buses and trains.)

Spent last week in Rome, currently on Med cruise. Airline didn't require (or even mention) masks on flight into Italy. Was never asked to mask up at any tourist attraction or restaurant. Uber says you and the driver should be masked, but only one out of the ten or so drivers we had was masked. The only place we were asked to mask up was on one of the private tour busses on Sicily. Thought others might want to know our real world experience.
