It wouldn't be spring without an Epcot F&G Festival! New pg 35

Great to do list update :thumbsup2

I will be very curious what you think of Raglan Road thinking of eating there next yr w/ the family!

We ate there last year and are going again on our first night this trip. yum.

I have been checking Accuweather. The other day was rain showers our first weekend but now it is all sunny. In the 90's on Sunday & Monday & 80's the rest of the time. It is so funny how it changes everyday.

Sounds like you're ready to go. I still have to pack. I plan on getting lots done this weekend & I have most of Tues. off.

One week!!!:yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

How is it that we have some of the same ADRs but on different days? :confused3

It's going to be hot while we are there! I'm not sure how much Tim is going to like that... we'll definitely be taking some mid-day breaks to swim!

I've got us mostly packed up. I have to work & have appointments Monday-Wednesday next week so I won't have much time to focus on the trip. I still have some laundry & things we use every day to pack.

I'm going to post a quick update today... Zach is home sick today (may just be a cold, but strep has been going around so I'm going to take him in to the doctor) and Alex gets home from environmental camp at noon!

It's also a sad day here in NH with 5 police officer shot in Greenland, NH last night. Their town's Chief of Police was shot & killed. I don't live in Greenland, but live in the seacoast area so it wasn't too far from home. Luckily, I don't think I know anyone invovled, but it's still very, very sad. I'm sure I know someone who knows one of the officers. :sad2:

I'm also still not getting email notifications to most of my subscribed threads. :confused3

Anyways... We're under a week now!!

And it looks like it's going to be hot!

Two weeks from today, we’ll start our last two days of hopping. We always like to visit all four parks on our last two days. Originally we’d planned on DHS/MK today but then the AM EMHs flip flopped. Since we are staying offsite for this portion of the trip, we’ll be avoiding DHS and the AM EMH. When the EMHs flip flopped, I flip flopped our morning plans & was able to change our ADRs too. So today we’ll be at Epcot & will have lunch at Le Cellier.

I can’t believe I was able to get that ADR only one month out! After a mid-day break, we’ll head to MK for one last visit!

I’d really like to end our trip with MK but I think it’s going to be too busy on Saturday night.

I'll be back tomorrow with the plans for our last full day.

All your plans look great. I will look forward to your opinion of Raglan and how the boys do eating there. I always hear such great reviews but worry about my kids eating there.

:cheer2:Hooray Hooray your less than a week away:banana:

Love Raglan Road...we are eating there in two days (special treat to my hubby for taking me on his business trip with him!). And you are going to have some hot weather while you are there...we've got a couple of 86 and 87 in Tampa and Naples when we are there next week.

So sad about what happened here in NH last night. One of the detectives that got shot was a detective here in our city. They say he is holding his own.

I don't want to think about 2 weeks from today as we will be coming home!!:sad2:

I'm looking forward to trying Raglan Road because I've heard so many good things. As long as there is chicken on the menu, we'll do fine. ;)

I know... so sad! :sad1: I hope the last two hospitalized officers have a full recovery!

Don't worry... tomorrow's my last day of "in two weeks" updates. I'm not doing one on Sunday - I don't want to think about coming home either!

Fantastic plans!
You're going to have fantastic weather. :goodvibes

 I like it hot!! I just hope it's not too hot for Tim!

The Serious Steak at Ragland Rd is really good. The smell of basil from it was heavenly. I might get it again next week

So sad about the police chief and officers.

Does Alex get home this weekend from camp?

Can't wait to hear about Disney Quest -- we have never been there.

Amy~ I haven't had much time to post- you're plans look great!
Good score on LC Wow one month out!!!
Well we leave this afternoon!!!!:banana:
Have a super trip!!!!!

Hope alex had a great time and I hope zach is feeling better.

I saw that story about the policeman on the news and I thought about you immediately. It is a very sad story indeed.

More great plans, as usual! :thumbsup2

Yes, the police shooting was awful!

Alex got home yesterday!! :cool1:

We haven't been to DQ before... I'm excited to check it out.

I can't believe we're down to 5 days!!

Yesterday, Alex came home from environmental camp. He had an amazing time!! The aide that works with him pulled me aside when they arrived. She told me that she wants to let Alex tell us all about his trip, but then she wants to fill me in on the stuff he doesn't share... she said that as a mom herself, she knows that I would want to know these things. She said she is so proud of him and all the new things he tried at camp. She said it was making her tear up! So I can't wait to talk with her this week!! I'll be sure to bring my tissues!

This morning, Zach had a karate tournament. The last tournament he competed in, (about a year and a half ago) he didn't do very well. His nerves got the best of him & he started over mid-way through a form. He came in last. Today he was competing in three events. And he came in 1st in two of the three!! :cool1:

93a3a0a8.jpg

He came in first in Grappling & Sparring. He got an honorable mention for his sword form. Weapons forms are for green belts & above and he is still a blue belt so we were just proud of him for trying. He is testing to get his green belt on Wednesday. The sparring event only had two kids for his age/level so it was just one quick match. The grappling event was a doozie... he competed in the first round (six kids so there were three matches) and he won. Then he got moved right to the finals & competed in a match that went four round because it stayed tied so long (they usually just go one round or less). He finally scored some points in the fourth round and won!

So what will we be doing in two weeks?

Two weeks from today will be our last full day. Boo! We’ll head to DHS in the morning, with lunch at Sci-Fi for the boys.

I hope Tim likes it OK this time. I’m not sure if we’ll take a mid-day break or not as our evening plans are to head to AK, which is only open until 7pm.

I’m looking forward to this because we’ve never been there past 2pm. We might watch the parade, we might not? We’ll see… Unfortunately it won’t be dark by 7pm so no EE in the dark for us this trip. After we slowly make our way out of AK, we’ll say good-bye to Disney to go back to the condo to finish packing. We have an early morning ahead of us the next day.

The weather is still looking hot!

And there you have it! I'm not going to post an "in two weeks" update tomorrow because that will be our coming home day! :sad1: And we don't want to think about that yet!

But I will be back with an update on my to do list tomorrow. :thumbsup2

Woo hoo! The DIS is back up! I'm a little bit afraid this post will get lost, but I'm going to go ahead with it anyways. We're down to 4 days!!!

It's going to be HOT here tomorrow... almost 90! And it's only predicted to hit about 85 in Orlando. :confused3 (Looks like the smilies are all moved around again...)

My to do list is coming along nicely. I have done everything I can up to this point. The majority of the list will get finished up on Wednesday. I'm hoping to go get my pedicure first thing in the morning, finish up some last minute work then be able to finish packing while the kids are at school.

I have to work tomorrow morning, then I'll see if there's any packing I can do. I'll try to get the kids' travel bags packed up. I had set a bunch of stuff aside but they were looking for some things this weekend so I had to pull them back out for them. I didn't want them to notice that things were missing. I'm not sure I'll get much else finished tomorrow... maybe I'll try to clean a little...

Looks like your list is coming along well.

Even with no surprise at my house we had to stall packing. Looks like shorts weather so I will have to put off packing at least shorts.

I'm happy we don't have to wear warm clothing on the plane only to be overheated on the other end. This weekend last year my men were still on a snowmobile up north... while this year I'm hoping the Daffodils are not all gone by so I can bring some to family. 5 DAYS!:joker:

How was your weekend?? Mine was busy with laundry & PACKING!!!
I am just about ready. A few more work days, a trip to the bank & we will be ready.

What a gorgeous day here in NH. I was filling all my bird feeders, bird bath & sat out a little while to try & get some color.

I am also very excited to read that the pool (SAB) may be ready towards the end of the week!! It looks like they will be done ahead of schedule!

I have been checking all different weather reports & glad to see that the 90 degree weather seems to be gone!! Low to mid 80's.:thumbsup2:banana:

I was just telling Tim that I felt like I was underpacking... It's so much easier to pack when you know it won't be cold. In November we had to pack for hot and cold and everything in between. We'll all wear sweatshirts, the boys will wear sweatpants and I'll wear capris - that will be the extent of our warm weather gear. :thumbsup2

I'm going to try to eliminate one of the suitcases I have started.

:cool1: Hooray Hooray for 4 days

Your to do list is getting smaller and smaller :goodvibes

Thanks Jess! I should be able to cross a few more things off the list tomorrow! :cool1:

That's great news about SAB being open early!! I'm still glad we switched because I'd be a nervous wreck waiting it out to see if/when it would actually open. But for your sake, I hope it's open by the time you get there!

The weather was gorgeous today! Still is... tomorrow looks too hot to me! I'm glad the temps have come down a bit in the Orlando forecast!
