My DS14 used to be a SW junky, but sadly it was before they had the Jedi Academy. I know he would have really loved that. DS10 never wanted to do it b/c he's so shy. I'm sure your boys will have a blast!
We (DH, DS10 & I) can't wait to ride RnR. That's one of our favorites.

I'm not sure if Zach will do it or not. But I never would have considered doing it with the old system. Waiting around hoping to get into the show, then not getting picked, is the perfect set up for a meltdown! I'm so glad they changed to the new sign up system.

We're down to 12!!

Two weeks from today will be our 2nd resort day… (arrival day was our first). After our late night, we’ll sleep in a little & wander over to Jambo House.

We have a 9am ADR for breakfast at Boma! I know that seems a bit early for a sleep in day... but I suspect 8am is as late as our "sleep in" will be!

After breakfast, we’ll probably make a stop here:

After breakfast we’ll spend some time at Kidani, swimming at the pool, doing resort activities, checking out the animals & visiting community hall.

Hopefully we’ll see lots of these:

At some point we’ll visit the Jambo pool.

I’m not totally sure about our dinner plans, but we may head over to ESPN for an early dinner. I'm still waiting for the NHL playoff schedule to see how busy the restaurant will be that day.

We might even head over to Beaches & Cream for some dessert.

I’d also like to check out the “animal viewing in night vision” at Jambo.

We'll also have to pack up because the next day will be our moving day.

I can't understand how some people don't spend at least one day just swimming and soaking up the sun.

We've never done a resort day so I'm really looking forward to it! Our kids have a hard time entertaining themselves so we haven't done a resort day before now. We're hoping they'll let us have a little down time!

I know what you mean about entertaining themselves! UGH!!!
I'm sure they'll have fun!! You can always break up the swimming with shopping, or taking a walk, or some other non park activity. The last 2 years we rented those searacer boats on our off day. DS14 is able to drive! You only have to be 12.
We might try mini golf this year.

We're at Animal Kingdom this day. We check in to Vistana Villages later in the afternoon. I'll give you a call at some point about visiting you guys at Kidani that night.

We may end up at DHS on Friday also. I am leaving it up to the boys. The plan was AK because we have an ADR at Boma but that is not until 5:00 so we shall see.

We will be able to walk to DHS so that will be nice.

That's great that the boys may do the Jedi training.

Pool time should keep them busy! And if we run out of things to do at the resort, we can always jump in the car and find something else to do.

I wish we'd planned to be at AK that day since we're right around the corner, but I've looked over the itinerary & can't make it work. Plus, I do really want to spend time exploring the resort. I hope we can figure out a time for you to come swim with us!

Happy Easter everyone!

We had a nice day & are now sitting down to watch the Muppets... a gift from the Easter Bunny!

We're down to 11 days!!

Which means I get to do online check in tomorrow!! Tomorrow is also the day Alex leaves for environmental camp with his 5th grade class! He's ready... I think I am.

Moving on... Two weeks from today we’ll be checking out of Kidani & heading to Epcot for our first glimpse of this year’s Flower & Garden Festival.

Hopefully the boys will enjoy this sand sculpture because they are going to miss the school field trip to see the movie on Friday 4/20:

We’ll probably grab some breakfast in the villa or at Mara before we head out. We’ll spend the morning exploring Future World (but not Test Track ), then head to Japan for lunch at Teppan Edo with Heidi & her family! I think it’s the perfect meal for the 8 of us to share together.

After lunch we’ll do a bit more exploring, maybe do a Kim Possible Mission or two before heading out of the park. When we leave, we’ll head to Sheraton Vistana Villages, our home away from home for the rest of our trip. Heidi & her family will be staying there as well, having checked in the day before. We’ll get settled in, maybe go for a swim and find some dinner. I’m not sure if we’ll head back out in the evening or not.

I almost picked up Hop the other day... Seems like it was in theaters forever ago - was it Easter last year? They were smart to hold off on releasing it on DVD/BluRay until Easter this year.

We love Teppan Edo too - one of our favorites (Zach's favorite)!

I'm not sure... If so, it wasn't very good. DH has a verizon mifi hot spot so we use that when we are away. Alex always asks us to "turn on the internet"!

Glad I could help with the 1 way rental! I have to give credit to the transportation board.

I may book a one way to the Car Care Center and then another one way back to Tampa... would get us our 10 days in a minivan for 224.00. I need to figure out how horrid a change out would be and if it would be worth it to us time wise. Where is the Care Care Center? I'm also going to check at the Holiday Inn near the house we are renting...

We have a car rented for 198.00. A van would be nice for the extra room and if the other family wanted to ride with us. HMMMMM
