It wouldn't be spring without an Epcot F&G Festival! New pg 35

Flame Tree...YUM! :thumbsup2

The boys will love the Maharajah Jungle Trek. It was a favorite for my boys. They loved watching the tigers!

I could live without Flights of Wonder..... But that's just me! ;)

I love when you post your old pictures of the boys. Its so cool to see how much they have grown.

Great plans.

I love Flame Tree Barbecue too but I don't like to eat there when its hot outside. I need to get in the A/C.

I don't even want to look at your "To Do" list because you are so super organized its scary! :rotfl:

Glad to hear there aren't any new stones!

Love your AK post (of course )! I dreamed we ate at Flame Tree last night -- this was somehow embedded in a dream about the world ending, but we won't go there right now. :lmao:

So glad to hear that there isn't any more new stones!!:thumbsup2

Love your AK post! EE is definitely a favorite for us as well. We finally convinced the boys to ride Dinosaur on our trip this summer. I'm so excited because I know they are going to love it especially Noah who is sooooo in to dinosaurs at the moment. We've always wanted to see the parade too but never seem to stick around that late in the afternoon at AK.:confused3

I love your past AK pictures, Amy. The boys have grown so much. :)

What are your October dates? We are booked from 15-19th. :goodvibes

Is Yak & Yeti pretty good? Is it typical of normal Chinese food? It's been on my to-do list for awhile.

Love looking back at your AK pictures. I love how adventurous your boys are. We loved Flame Tree too, it is top of our list.:goodvibes

Can't wait to see what other plans you have for your trip

:lmao: If the world was ending there would be no other place I would want to be than Disney!!

We've never done Flights of Wonder so we'll see... I can't wait to check out the Jungle Trek. I'm sure Zach will like it, but Alex will be asking how much longer all the way through!

I can see how Flame Tree might not be appealing when it's super hot out!

To do list coming up!

:rotfl: I think you were having two dreams at once!

We all LOVE Flights of Wonder!!!!! Please give it a try!

:thumbsup2 I'm very curious about it. Hopefully Alex doesn't get totally freaked out!

We LOVE EE! Dinosaur is fun - but can definitely scare younger kids. I bet yours will enjoy it!

We just miss you... 10/11-10/14.

Tim likes Y&Y but I don't like that kind of food so I've never tried it!

I think my boys are comfortable to be adventurous at Disney. When we've taken them to other amusement parks, they haven't been very adventurous. :confused3

First of all I just have to say that we'll be at Disney in one month!!!:banana:

But... we won't be at the Beach Club! :scared1: Do you remember back a page or two when I said we were still going to stay there even with the pool closure? Well I changed my mind!

This is a picture of Stormalong Bay. I originally thought the part of the pool that would be closed was between the sinking sands & the slide. However, I have learned (from a BC CM) that the circled part is also going to be closed... all the way from the hot tubs to the slide exit!

Even though it's one of the three pools that make up SAB, it looks like it's about half of the pool area. I'm sure construction won't be quiet. Also, about half of the garden view CL rooms look out over the courtyard in the direction of SAB- right where the construction will be happening.

So where are we staying?

AKV Kidani!

There's no club level but we're getting a 1BR villa for the same price... until I added on savannah view!! Like Heidi said, "What's the point of staying at Kidani without savannah view?"

And most importantly, a pool slide!

I'll be back soon with the updates I had planned for today but had to share this news right away!!

Even though the BC is my favorite resort, I think you made a good choice switching. I would have been a nervous wreck wondering what the construction would really be like. nd I would have been really disappointed:headache: after spending ALL that $$$$. AKL is the next resort I'd like to stay at. Savannah view sounds awesome:thumbsup2

You are going to LOVE Kidani.

I was looking over how much of the pool was going to be closed and I started wondering if you might think about swtiching. I know if it was supposed to be closed when we're going it would be a major concern for us. So excited for you to be staying at Kidani!

You know me, always ready to help a friend spend money! We might have to come visit you on Saturday and make sure that pool is the right tempature ;)

How exciting to be able to stay at Kidani!!:yay:

It's too bad about Stormalong Bay. But, it does look like a big portion will be down when you go and this way you don't have to deal with all the construction noise. I think you made a great choice!!!:thumbsup2

Sad that you wont be at BC with us but glad for you about Kidani!!:thumbsup2

I hope we still get to meet up this time.

I am still bummed about the pool but the walk into Epcot & to DHS is still a great reason for us to stay there. Plus walking to ESPN club if the Bruins are in the playoffs will be ideal for Ryan & Cody.

I think in your case you made a great choice.:thumbsup2

31 Days!! Well almost 30 now.:goodvibes
