I know all the talk now is about the snow we MAY get this week. Yes the last big storm was Oct. when we were trying to get back home from Disney.
We keep dodging the snow bullet but we may not dodge it this week. We shall see. I can hear Cody saying "figures we get a storm when we are on vacation".

You are too funny about getting things out since the boys are on vacation. Good idea though. Can never start too soon.

Cody bought some new sun glasses last week when I bought my new Nikes. He wants to buy some new sneakers also.

Any other plans with the boys this week??

I think the snow is going to get us this time Doreen! I'm waiting for the news to come on to see the latest but it looks like 6-10 inches! I guess the boys will have something to do for the rest of the week!

No major plans this week - various appointments, etc.

I wish all of life was filled with cast members.

Have a nice week of February vacation and hopefully you won't be snowed in with two hyper boys.

I wish we didn't have a full week off over President's week. I feel like we have Christmas break, then mid winter and then spring...when do they go to school for any significant period of time?

Glad you were able to take advantage of the Lands End sale! Our stuff should be arriving today.

It usually feels that way for us too - but this year it felt like forever between Christmas break & February break. One of the teachers at school said the lack of snow days has been tough this year. The kids & teachers are used to having a day off here & there and haven't had that this year.

Clothing my boys was pretty easy. Shorts and t-shirts, and luckily they got lots of hand-me-downs. Girls are a little more complicated.

Sorry for your snow. It was beautiful here yesterday, but I think we're supposed to have storms today.

I agree that boys are easy as far as clothes go. Sometimes I wish I had a little girl to dress, but that would eventually mean a teenage girl busting the bank with her clothes!

The snow should be a fun change since we haven't had much this year. I hope you are keeping safe in the storms!!

I very excited to tell you that I saved $225 on our rental car today!!! The rates FINALLY went down at Alamo. When I originally booked (right after booking our air in early October), it was $597 for a minivan for 10 days. The prices have only gone up. I’ve tried every discount website and every coupon I could find & still nothing! I checked today & couldn’t believe my eyes… $374! I double checked to make sure I put the dates in right, but it really was $374! I’m so happy!

As I have already said, this is our February school vacation week. Yesterday we had our annual trip to Boston to check in with the boys’ developmental pediatrician/neurologist. The visit went well & we got to have lunch at Rainforest Café!

Today I get to take Alex to the orthodontist while Zach is at karate camp. Then this afternoon, we have a 30 hour snow storm rolling in to town. We have barely had any snow this winter, with only one snow day which was on Halloween! We are expecting 6-10 inches of snow by the time the storm ends tomorrow night.

Continuing our tour of Walt Disney World… The second park we will visit in April is Magic Kingdom!

Amy, I am jealous!!! I want some snow. We haven't had hardly any here in southern Ohio this year. Jeremy hasn't even missed one day of school or been on delay. It has been nice but I would love one good storm so we could go sleigh riding. Instead, it is storming here today with threats of torandos. The lightening was so bad last night it work Jeremy up.

Love all your pictures of the MK. I can't wait to see Storybook Circus in April.

I didn't realize Peter Pan had a new queue line. We will have to check that out.

Yeah everyone here at work is hoping that we will get "the call" tomorrow morning saying that we do not have to go to work. It would be a great day to do some updates. Just snowing & wet roads right now but some have heard that tomorrow morning will be the worst.

Cody got called in to work (grocery store) because everyone & their uncle are going to get groceries. They must be slammed today.

As far as Peter Pan... I thought it would be open sometime before we are there but now I don't think so. I guess the walls came down last week & it's just a new wheelchair ramp. I've read mixed things about if/when the new queue will happen... I'm guessing not within the next six weeks??

The old pictures are pretty funny! I wish I could find pictures from when I went to Disney twice with my best friend - that would have been sometime in the late 80s.

So funny about the grocery shoppers! Luckily I had done a stock up before February vacation started so I wouldn't have to worry about it this week. I have an extra loaf of bread and carton of milk so we should be OK. I hope you get the call tomorrow morning!

I'm not sure about Test Track... I've heard mid-April with many people guessing that means around 4/16, after the Easter week crowds are gone. I hope it stays open until at least the 20th! That's our first park day & I'd make a point to fit in a ride. It'll be really stinky to have both TT & BTMRR closed!

I made this list before I read about that wheelchair ramp at Peter Pan... I've only seen a couple things about it and one (easywdw) just made a joke about that being the new "interactive" queue and the other (sorry don't remember where I read it) said it was just the first stage. But I don't know when the actual iteractive queue (if there actually is one) will be open. I guess that solves my problem about where to go first on our only MK morning.

I was soooo excited about the rental car. Tim was working from home that day & thought I was crazy! $600 was way too high so I'd been checking the Alamo site regulary & the prices were only going up! I was so happy when they finally dropped - and they dropped A LOT!

I love looking back - but it's a little sad that the boys are never going to be little like that again.
