I did my ADR's this morning and it was weird cuz they never asked for my confirmation # and I asked if she needed it, she said not anymore. Soooo I made the reservations, got everything I wanted when I wanted (we detail it later when I'm not so hyper,lol) and what day I wanted.

Okay, before anyone march's in here to work I wanted to add something that is bothering me. Do you know when I called for the ADR's not only did they NOT ask for my resrvation number & they said they don't need it but she just took my ADR's without seeing when my first day was or anything meaning that how did she know I was only 90 +1 days out from my vaca? Could I have called sooner? Did I just get someone that is clueless? I'm confused.


BY the way....my DSis#1 read this report last night and I got the phone call after. She didn't know why she didn't have a Disney Name and only DSis#1,lol. I warned her I was going to mention this now and I am so from here on out DSis#1 is "Tink" and DBil#2 is the Chesire Cat (we will call him CC for short,lol) So as a reminder here is the list of who is who..

Mickey - son #1, 22 yrs old
Minnie - Mickey's Fiance
Donald - son #2, 19 yrs old
Goofy - son #3, 16 yrs old
Simba - son #4, 10 years old
Tink- sister #1, age? older than me
Chesire Cat (CC) -brother in law, older tha mne but younger than Tink

I have to think of what my Disney name would be. My son's would say one of the step mother's or Ursula but I think I will have to ponder this.

Hope all who are at work aren't having too stressful of a day and those at home, we know sometimes that is worse than being at work !

Shhhh, I'm at work too. I have all of my staff's computers blocked so that they cannot access unnecessary internet sites but me, I'm on the dis for probably an hour every day.

The ADR thing has been hit or miss since the new program went into place. If you had tried earlier, it probably would not have worked.

Can't wait to hear where you are eating.

I don't normally do this at work but today was one of those do something besides work or go nuts kind of day.

Wonderful choices with Sci-Fi and Crystal Palace! We're going O'hanas for breakfast for the first time this trip. I am SO excited to go as Stitch is my favorite fluffy character!

HeatherBelle614....you will LOVE O'Hana's for breakfast. It's family style and the bread and jiuce at the beginning is (nuff said,lol)

I am going to work on the count down calendar this weekend and Simba and I have to finish his autograph book. Each page has a different character on it and he wants tabs on the side so he can go right to who he wants autographs from. The opposite page of each autograph is a pocket for a picture of Simba with the character.

Sounds like you have most things planned. I leave in, what, 70 days, and have nothing planned yet. Nothing. Actually, I'm still debating if I'm going (hate to leave my dogs home with a dog sitter) since we just got back 3 weeks ago.

The only place on your list I have not eaten is Ohana's. Tell me what it is that makes it a repeat for you? What do you like about it and if there is anything, what do you NOT like about it?

O'Hana's......First off the main reason I love it would be memories. It was the first place my whole family ate together (and it was Mother's Day) on our big trip in 2003. Second, atmosphere....you almost feel like your in Hawaii when you walk in there. The sights, sounds, smells, the way the cast members dress. It is close to perfect. My favorite part of being there is the waterfall. Third (bit not least at all) is the food. For the breakfast you start out with coffee, grava juice and a loaf of bread that is sweet and sticky and (my mouth is watering right now) and great. There is a story behind the bread that has to do with family and you become the cast member's cousin when you go in there to eat. The rest of the food is family style and regualr breakfast food (eggs, sausage, BACON, waffles, fruit, etc) and is cooked just right. I give it a 9 out of 10 for the food. I didn't give it a perfect 10 cuz I'm not allowed to bring the bacon home with me.


I have my younest (Simba) at work with me right now. Superintendent's Day off. Our school district still gives the kids the 2 weeks around Easter off. He is all set up with a computer, Smart Board, paper and markers to keep him busy while I work. The girls at work all treat him like he is thier grandson and bring him gifts, have him hang out with them in their office when he gets bored, etc. It's tough to be him sometimes,lol.

I've heard of Ohana's (sp) and would love to try it. Isn't that the one at Poly? I beleive that was on our list of ADR's but again I'm not sure.

I know you're excited about going...we have 114 days until we leave

Yepper doodle O'Hana's is at the Poly. It is one of the few times we get to ride the monorail too so that's another plus for the kids (okay and me)



Some updates I found at allears.net..........

Effective March 30, 2009, Disney's Magical Express will no longer offer luggage delivery service for arrivals to the Orlando International Airport after 10 p.m. Guests arriving at the airport after 10 p.m. will pick up their luggage at the baggage claim and take it with them to the Magical Express motor coach to their resort. This will allow late-arriving guests using Magical Express to have more immediate access to their luggage. Luggage delivery service will still be provided for Magical Express and Disney Cruise Line guests traveling to Walt Disney World for a resort stay who arrive on flights beginning at 5 a.m. until 10 p.m.

San Angel Inn in Epcot's Mexico pavilion will close for renovation beginning May 10, 2009. No other details are available at this time.

Spoodles at the Boardwalk will have a minor kitchen renovation beginning May 11 through May 29, 2009. The restaurant will be open for a limited breakfast, but dinner will not be served. The Boardwalk Spoodles Pizza window will remain open.
