That's good to know about the shellac, I may just skip it too!. I like the idea of getting there a little early to pick our colors as well.

We've had a good weekend here, a little cooler too but still nice.

Picking our colours is the best part....we just love it! Jasmine is highly considering "I'm Not Really a Waitress" for this trip but we'll see, she changes her mind every 5 minutes

We've been having rain this week that turned to snow but it didn't stay thank goodness! Hopefully will be getting warmer again soon!

Sounds like the plans are moving right along !! I really need to get busy doing more of our planning, but I seem to be moving through days in a fog .

It's definitely getting close for you guys but you've really had a time of it lately! I sure hope you're feeling more like yourself very soon

Cannot believe another weekend is almost over! The first thing I thought of this morning was "WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY NEXT MONTH". Yesterday it was 7 weeks until we leave and I can hardly believe it! So much happened this week and I can't wait to tell you all about it!


First of all, we're switching resorts! I know, I still can't believe it myself but let me explain! My sister has a very good friend who's daughter is a manager in the World.! My sister's very good friend asked why we didn't get ahold of her daughter so we could get her discount! My sister said "she would never do that, she doesn't ask for anything from anyone". I am a bit stubborn that way Anyhoodle, to make a long story short she is booking us in at Pop and saving me almost $500 off of what I booked! She has had a very busy weekend so we've yet to connect so I hope we're still able to get it at the CM rate! I will miss ASMu as it is one of our favorites but for $500, I will move!

On that note, Jasmine and I decided taking a trip to the US was more feasible now so we took off yesterday at 630am and headed down for a day of shopping! It turned into a beautiful day and we ended up with lots of great stuff....well, Jasmine ended up with lots of great stuff My main thing was getting all the travel stuff and makeup! Makeup is so much cheaper in the states! At the end of it all Jasmine ended up spending $300 but she is set for the trip and summer in general!

The wait at the border coming home wasn#t too bad....maybe 25 minutes....spring break you know! We knew we would have to go in and pay and that#s when it dawned on my that she bought two pairs of shoes and the duty on shoes is horrendous when you are there for less that 48 hours! But Jasmine had a very cute young officer and they were chatting about university and he just graduated with his criminal justice degree! He told her how lucky she was that she got to live at home while going to school....and he didn#t charge her duty only the taxes! Saved her a little more money!

I am charging the camera as I type so once I get the housework, laundry and grocery shopping done I will be back with pictures of her purchases! Enjoy your Sunday everyone!

All of the reviews say that Pop's buses are better. Not sharing buses has to have its advantages! (and $500 savings! )

Dh and I enjoyed Pop. I think the food court and store are great!

Next month, you'll be in Disney!!!

I know Music is your tradition but I think you girls are going to love Pop! The
staff there is among the best we've encountered at ANY resort in WDW and the theming is so fun! We've tried all the values and it really is our favorite.

Yay Pop!! Now that you've changed we'll be there at the same time and same resort! How funny. We put in a room request for the Lady building (Building 1) so we are hoping we'll get that request! We were in the 90's building on our last trip and it was actually really close to the bus stop when you cut through the parking lot. Can't wait to see all the shopping items!

Awe. We are going the same day. I am hoping to wake our 12 year old by sending our 2 year old to jump on his bed yelling we are going to disney. I hope it works. You have reminded me to be more careful. The good news is we are going with all my husbands relatives in Nov. so if he hears me talking he thinks I am talking about Nov. Good luck! Yay for switching to Pop! Personally, Pop is my favourite Value resort. I hope it becomes yours too. It's SO much better not having to share buses between other resorts. Also, I find Pop to be much less busier than the All Star resorts. Oh I just know you're going to love it! And congrats on saving $500 buckaroos! That's a huge savings

A 500 dollar saving for switching to Pop...well if you needed any sign at all that taking a trip to WDW was a good idea...you have it!!! That's wonderful, and that leaves more money to play around with/and or keep.

And Pop is such a fun resort!

Another week that totally got away from me! I am happy to say that our reservation at ASMu has been cancelled and we are officially staying at Pop Century! I got the confirmation email as soon as I got to work yesterday! I was very excited!

I promised you some pictures from our trip to Grand Forks ND too and finally got around to uploading them today! I didn't take a picture of everything but I thought I would share a few of the items that Jasmine bought for our trip!

Jasmine bought these at a store here in Winnipeg before we left called Dynamite, they are the cutest shorts....there's also a black pair behind the white ones but because of the colour of the loveseat you can't see them!

From Kohl's....Lauren Conrad....this looked so cute on her, I just loved it! It was a little pricier than what she would normally spend but she loved it!

2 more tops from Winners (the sales associates got an additional 20% off a couple of weeks ago so she did a little shoppin)
