Tonight the shelter sponsored a dance to introduce our new safe dating campaign to the middle school aged kids. For most of these kids, it was their first ever dance. We were afraid that it wouldn't go over to well.. you know how kids can be. Well, we sold completely out of tickets. These kids could cut a rug
The best part of all, was I got to be there and see dd have a blast. Yep, I've probably scared her for life because I am the photographer of the bunch. Here is her and one of her classmates dancing: (I am posting the 'bad' picture because I don't know the other kid's parents and don't want to post his face). Oh, and can you spot her lime green 'dis' colored necklace?
And then the fun of having mom's organization sponsor the dance is that you get the dance floor to yourself after everyone else has left. This is her and her a friend of hers that I actually used to babysit before shelby was born.
