I am so happy for you that you will be staying at AKL. You will fall in love with it! That is my DVC home and while I can stay at other resorts I still seek out that one.

A friend of mine with her family is going to AKL (per my recommendation ) in December too...she has never been and I was going to help her with dining ressies and I keep waiting for the hours to be out too!!

I feel so blessed this week, First off, Grams cancer is in remission (There's nothing better that i needed to hear) Secondly, Dbf agreed to go to WDW in December and were getting along great!!!!

Lastly, After a year on contract here at my job, I got a PERMANENT POSITION here at the Court house. I am so excited!!!! (Especially considering some girls were on a contract for up to 5 years before they got their permanent position). I feel incredibly blessed and lucky...

This week has just been amazing, I don't know anything that could make it any better!!!!

It's so exciting.. I"m so happy for her.. she's gonna get through this.. it's already september.. october is around the corner.

ohhh... there's a lot of people going in DEC.. where are you staying?

We get to Ft Wilderness on 12/5 and we are staying until 12/10 when we sail on the Disney Wonder for 3 nights.

He will like the gym there. It is a nice little gym, and they have really cool treadmills if he likes to run. Oh gosh you will love staying Deluxe.... you will not want to go back to a value or mod. I swear lol, you get spolied after you stay deluxe, lol.No we have not eaten at Jiko yet.. we are nex trip! Can't wait.I'm so sad this is almost over!

It really was a sweet surprise.. and he truly picked things out that i was going to buy! Curl has been are fav. store since our first trip to DTD... I think i've purchased my Uggs there every year!

I'm excited for the Deluxe.... I know... I"m really sad that I only have a couple of more updates and then i'm done!! but at least i get to start a new PTR!!!

OMG Rach! I miss one day on the Dis and you post like 100 updates! Let me see if I can remember all that I want to say.

First and foremost, I am SO happy with the news about your grams. It made me get all teary-eyed for all of you and your family. And then to find out you get to go back at Christmas!! That is my favorite time to go to WDW. You are going to have an amazing trip!

The Sci-Fi is a must-do for us. We love that place because of the atmosphere. I'm glad that you liked it! It seems like your day ended up great after the morning argument was over. The surprise in your room was so sweet. How cool that he surprised you after you had been doing so much to surprise him.

DTD shopping is so much fun. They have such a good blend of different types of shops. I'm not a big shopper, but I never get bored at DTD.

That's all of my thoughts for now. Can't wait to hear more!

It has been a good week.. I cannot complain! Sci-Fi was delicious.. we were impressed. I agree, DTD does have a variety of shops!!!

Thank you everyone. I cannot tell you how proud I am of myself.. I have been through a lot of hardship.... and just knowning that the most important person to me is going to be alright, that all that schooling was worth it and I got this job all on my own, I didn't know anybody to get in and I worked my *** off!! I am so proud of myself.

-I haven't started my PTR as we are still trying to hash out dates.... but as soon as I do i'll make sure to post the link in here.

-I have a couple of updates tonight.. but i think our computer has a virus so we'll have to see.

After DTD, we made our way back to POP where we decided to feed our bellies before getting changed into our airport outfits.

At the beginning of this report, I told you that Dbf and I don’t even have to ask where were going to grab a seat while we eat… Here’s a photo of our booths:

After eating a quick lunch, we went and picked up our luggage. We changed in the lobby washrooms and then waited for the DME. At this point, I re-arranged all my luggage to fit my purchases. Dbf told me that our pick up time was scheduled for 3:15pm… but after waiting a good hour I was casually looking through our papers and realized that our actually scheduled pick up time was 3:45pm.. Arugh.. so we waiting another 30 minutes…

Once at the airport, it was really annoying that we got nailed with a 20.00-dollar luggage fee (Even though we didn’t pay on the way down) United check-in it was out of control and completely disorganized. There was no problem with the flight to Washington. However, from Washington to Ottawa was horrible. I’ve truly NEVER experienced that much turbulence in my life. I’m glad we survived….

Those are some killer airport shoes. I thought most people got more comfy for the airplane ride, not less. I know my airplane outfit usually consists of lots of layers, flip flops and a blanket if I can fit one in my carry-on.
