We just came back from our beautiful family trip to Orlando. We have been there for 10 days, spent 4 days in WDW - one in each park. There are really no words to explain how great that experience was! It was our first time there, we visited Disneyland couple a years ago. I got mixed comments before my travel about preferences between these two places - but I can now say that I loved WDW much more! Not that I wouldn't go back to California, we also made beautiful memories there, but for me #1 now is Florida.
Everything was so perfect, we had great weather (which was my big concern). It rained only one evening, while we were waiting for Frozen ride, and the rain was gone for the night show at Epcot. One other afternoon it poured 1-2 hours, but we decided to make a break that day, so it didn't really ruined anything for us.
I cannot comment on the crowds, because it was our first time there...but on the other hand I can't even imagine that place to not be crowded
I was like a real PRO with FP+ - we used it a lot! The only two rides that we could not get it for were Frozen (we waited) and Seven Dwarfs (we were in the line, but they closed it because of the potential thunderstorm so we exited). Everything that we planned to do & see - we managed. My favourite ride - AGAIN - just like in Disneyland was Soaring! I was jumping from joy, like a little kid - I LOVE THAT RIDE SO MUCH!!!! It was amazing... And I would say that Epcot altogether was my favourite park.
My Son did all of the crazy rides, I think his favourite was Aerosmith R&R, followed by Everest and Space Mountain (this might be a different order). He only skipped Tower of Terror and I am glad he did... I can't stand that attraction
I am still under impression, and it will take some time for sure to come back to reality. I was so impressed by how well organized everything was - from parking, to tram, to security scans, ticket scans, finger scans etc. My daughter (6) had troubles scanning her finger one day, but they took her picture instead and everything was fine after that.
We also went to Universal, Kennedy Space Center, Sea World and Aquatica - but for me they all can't even come close to Disney. My Son says that Universal was better for him - I guess because of the crazy rides (I didn't do match there) and Harry Potter.
All together, we enjoyed it and we already miss it.... I would like to go back to WDW again for sure...
It is the MOST MAGICAL place on Earth! You can't compare that atmosphere to anything...
