It really worked!! Free $75 Gift Card

Hi, I just thought I would mention to anyone trying this, BE CAREFUL if they ask for your telephone number! My teenage daughter filled out some offers for "free" gift cards and all of a sudden a monthly service charge from some company started showing up on our bill. When we called and question them about they stated that my DD and knew her name had filled out the info on line. They took of the charge after I let them know she was under age. So just keep an eye on your bill.

I just signed up for the Blockbuster deal. DH and I were planning on joining anyway -- why not get a free $75 gift card while we're at it! :Pinkbounc

I signed up over 2 months ago...anyone know how long it takes??? I emailed them with no response. How long did it take for you to get yours?

Just a FYI on this....... I was able to send out the voucher and now i'm waiting for the gift card, but in the meantime I checked the card I used (I always check to make sure it's correct) and found a $59 charge from the same company I bought that wrinkle cream from !! the little tube I originally bought for this offer was about $3.00 and that was charged last month and now I see this new charge from that same company !! I contacted my card and put a dispute in for the charge, do you think i'll have any trouble with this ??? Ugg I'll never do this again !! I've learned my lesson "If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is" !!

Was your cream from Jevene? If so, this is a membership. They will send you a big jar of their cream for about 60.00 every month. You need to find their website and cancel the membership with them. I have the same problem. I wanted to be refunded my money(sending the product back) but I couldn't fine and info on how to return my item. I emailed them and they s u c k!! So now I have this 60.00 winkle cream that ain't worth a dollar. Oh well lesson learned!!!

Hi,
I went to the site and started to fill it out the page got an error and I was never able to continue. I never got anywhere to put in credit card information. So does all the offers I began to sign up for still go through or is nothing complete because it quit in the middle? Hope somone out there knows or at least has an idea of what might happen. Thanks in advance.

You should only have to put credit card information into the site of whichever offer you are going to do. For example, I decided to sign up for the Blockbuster deal -- $9.99 first month, unlimited DVD rentals, plus 2 free in-store rental coupons. I put my credit card info into the Blockbuster site, NOT the GetSpecialGifts site.

The thing with the offers is you have to remember if you don't want to continue beyond the trial month, you HAVE to cancel it before your CC gets charged, like the person above experienced with the wrinkle cream. Otherwise, it's a great way to earn a $75 gift card, especially if it's something you were wanting to try/join/buy anyway.

Just tried it. Completed the $75 survey and it booted me out!

Then tried the $50 survey link provided, but it wouldn't allow me use the e-Bay option. Not interested in the other stuff--I'd just have to remember to cancel it.

Didn't work for me, but I'm glad others have benefitted! :)

Yes, that was it !! the same thing happened to me, got the cream BUT I had realized that there was that charge on my card and disputed it immediately with my credit card company and had the charges reversed, so I still have the cream (because I don't know where to send it) and I got my money back and received my $75.00 gift card in the mail yesterday !!!!

Barb, I have disposable email addresses, but the free voice mail account is news to me. Thanks so much for the info. I just signed up with K7. It will sure come in handy.

BE CAREFUL and read the privacy policy. Use a disposable email address, and be aware that you could be letting yourself in to have your snail mail info. and phone number sold as well. Even if you are on the "Do Not Call" list, doing business with a company that works with lots of other companies counts as starting a "business relationship" with them and gives them carte blanche to call you. You might want to sign up for a free voicemail account at k7.net if you like to do offers like this in order to protect your real phone number.

My $75 visa gift card arrived! Fortunately, I have had no problems with spam or phone calls or extra charges at all.

I sent my voucher about 6 weeks ago, I think. I started the process in November (with an offer that worked well for me), so it takes awhile, but I'm thrilled!

Thanks again to the OP!

I got my $75 Visa gift card 2-3 weeks ago. I did the blockbuster offer. I have had no spam, no troubles getting the card. It did take a while, but no where near as long as the card from the entertainment book deal. I think I signed up on Jan 21st and got the card on March 12. I am going to try another offer with my husbands name. Wish me luck!!!

I got mine too. They were super nice when I called to check on the status.

Ginny :)

I have emailed them multiple times and either get no response, or am told they are "looking into it" even though it said shipped in December. Not getting anywhere - does someone have a phone number I can call???

Ok, maybe someone can help me. I am feeling stupid! I went to the barginproject.com and did this back in Jan. completed the survey and signed up for the blockbuster thing, now my one month with blockbuster is over and I have cancelled my membership with blockbuster so i won't keep getting charged.

However i have recieved nothing. i have read about people filling out a voucher?? What voucher is this i don't know anything about a voucher? And i have also seen where some have emailed or checked on there status? Where do you do this at? i have not seen a place to do this. I feel like i have completed the offer i had to but have nothing to show for it. I thought they would just mail me the gift card. :confused3

Thanks!!

Yes, I would LOVE a phone number. I have tried looking them up and got nothing. I even called other businesses in the same address they have and no one knew of them. If anyone has a phone number I would so appreciate it! I completed the offer in November (and am still using Blockbuster) and haven't seen anything yet. I called BB too and they can't do anything, it has to come from GSG.com.

I completed an offer on www.yourgiftcards.com for a $50 gift card (it was an easier offer). I didn't get the actual gift card, but I got a $50 check, which has cleared my account.

The number I called was 512/652-9015. The hours are 9am-5pm PST.

Good luck everybody!
Ginny

Ok , I have a question for those who have filled it out. How long does it take for the status of the offers to be updated from 'confirmed' to where I can get the voucher?
