It pays to recheck those reservations (National)

I have a business trip coming next month to Las Vegas (don't like the town but I have a client I need to meet with), in one day, back home the next. I had made, about a week ago, a National reservation for an intermediate on the EA, Priceless, $58, all taxes (sure miss those weekly and weekend rates).

I was playing on the National site a bit today, checking Dec rates for WDW (I had booked that trip months ago), and also this trip. Rates were the same for the Vegas trip (WAY UP for Dec trip). For whatever reason, I plugged in an intermediate SUV (don't particularly like SUV's) just to see rate. It was $48, all taxes. I plugged in a full size SUV, $43, all taxes. I rebooked a full size SUV (not many miles to travel so not much gas concern) for $15 less.

Just an FYI to always recheck those reservations....cars, air, resorts.

Great deal, Dan. :flower: It would be so nice if websites would just automatically find you the best deal but I've gotten so used to "hunt and pick" that I'm not sure I would know what to do if someone did find me the best deal! :bounce:
