I know a lot of us play around with dates and different airports in your area. I was playing around with Milwaukee to Orlando for 1/1/14-1/9/14. The best I came up with was around $280. I checked Madison for the same dates and it came out at $242! Not bad for Madison at all. I've only flown out of Madison once because of cost. Checked back the next day and it was $221 per person and booked on the spot for the four of us. I checked back already and it's already gone back up to $242. Sometimes it pays to mess around with you dates and airports. Madison is 10 minutes away and won't need to park a car. Milwaukee is an hour and 15 minutes plus parking for those days. Very HAPPY!pixiedust:

All I can say is - Cool!

May your entire trip be blessed with even more pixie dust.

Our dates for CA trip were pretty much picked by the days with good fares. I check 3 different airports- Omaha, Des Moines, and Kansas City. This is the first time we're doing Omaha. DM was competitive but the times were worse- plus they were flying to Chicago before heading to California and that made for longer travel time too. We're only looking at SW because we have points.

Was just playing around with flights to MCO to see what they're running, thinking about next year. Over the weekend anyway, Omaha was best there too.

Don't forget to check flights into Tampa. Tampa tends to be cheaper than MCO and it is a easy drive. Takes an hour and 15 minutes from Tampa, so if you think about it, it takes 35 minutes from MCO to WDW. So it really only take an extra 40 minutes to get from Tampa to WDW time wise.
Also the TPA is a much quieter airport not hustle bustle. Can arrive and be at your gate in less than 20 minutes!
