It pays to keep checking hotel availability

My son and I are going next month. We started CL AKL but he decided he'd like Contemporary. He's 20 and paying for hotel. So only available was Garden Wing Lake view- this was a week ago. Booked and we were happy. Then late last week a tower lake view opened so we made that change. Today I was checking rental cars and looked bectif Tower TPV opened I was going to surprise him... it hadn't been there before and there it was. I called and changed to TPV- of course there were price increases but we've had a rough year and he deserves this surprise!

So my lesson keep daily checking if resort not available. From these boards I learned cancellations do happen so now to continue countdown and check touring plans for recommendations on room unless someone has any.

He's had internship past 3 years! Worked full time past 3 summers. Doesn't spend money unnecessarily and is HUGE Disney fan.

Saw the same thing last night pop open. Couldn't pull the trigger for the pre-Christmas Cruise but I do keep looking just in case.
