Our family has lived in the same subdivision since early 2000. We love the location and have always had good neighbors. At least we used to be able to say that. Four new homes have been built in the remaining vacant lots over the past 6 months or so, and with the exception of one home, the new neighbors are fantastic. Fast forward to this afternoon as I'm turning onto our street after a day at the waterpark. I couldn't get to my house because of the police cruisers blocking the road. Turns out that one of our lovely new neighbor's many guests decided to ram the 5 vehicles parked at said neighbors house. He then pulled up 2 mailboxes and started beating the crud out of these cars. The police were there for 2+ hours taking statements from everyone. DD's best friends live next door to these people and we are 2 houses down from them. It terrifies me to think that our kids could have been playing in the yard that this nutjob decided to plow through when ramming some of these vehicles. I never thought I'd be wishing for a job transfer for DH, but I'm beginning to think that doesn't seem so bad after all...

They are HORRID. As far as we (and our other neighbors can tell) it is a woman and her 2 (or 3) sons (can't tell which ones are actually hers). The mother is often not around and these teenage boys are loud and annoying. During x-mas school break, I assume the mother wasn't home, they had a party and were drinking and yelling in the middle of the street. A fight broke out and many of the kids were beating one kid and they were vandalising a neighbors mailbox. We had to call the police (who came and called each kid's parent to make them come pick up their children at about 1am - these parents were not happy). Lately I have been coming home and they are congregating in the street. All these teens seem to own big loud trucks that they squeal up and down the street. I can not wait till they move out (or we move?).
