It missed us again!

Tonights big tornado that went through Oklahoma City and Moore, Oklahoma just missed us by a few miles. It followed approximately the same path as the May 3rd tornado from a few years ago. Over 100 people are injured. No fatalities yet, but some are in critical condition. Please pray for the families who have lost loved ones or their homes.

Our big GM plant will be closed tomorrow. It sustained damage, as did Tinker Air Force Base. This time of year I hate living in tornado alley! But you have to hand it to the weather service. They do a good job of warning us when they are coming.

I am glad that it missed you. It is so frightening to know you are right in the path of a tornado.

Things sure have been scary lately in this part of the country. The tornado sirens went off here just a little after 11 PM last night. Thankfully the worst of the storm went about 15 miles north of us but it was still a rough ride. I really don't know how many more days I can keeping dealing with the constant storms and warnings. This is day 6 and they are calling for more storms today and tomorrow.

We have high chances of severe weather again today.

I heard on tv that the US may break a record for number of storms that produce a tornado in a one week span. Not exactly what any of us want to hear.
