It just hit home!!

Just got a call from my sister in law and she said my nephew is being deployed on Sunday to Kuwait. It hit me hard to think of him going so far away indefinately and into so much uncertainty. She said he is excited, nervous and scared. Please keep him and all the servicemen and women in your thoughts and prayers.

My thoughts with your nephew. I have a freind whose husband gets deployed 01/22 and several others that are on pins and needles. I am close to Ft. Hood.

My dd's bf is active duty army and his company was notified that they would possibly be deployed to the middle east and to pack up their shop and load everything on trucks. Ashli's been really worried about it but he found out yesterday that his company isn't likely to be deployed right now and that tuesday they will be unpacking all the trucks they were ordered to pack for the possible deployment. Kinda sounds like a practice run to me and I guess the deployment orders will come sooner or later but I'm glad that it's not yet.
I will keep your nephew in my prayers.

I have a client whose son flies planes in the AF and he has been in Afganistan on and off the whole time we have been over there. He will be deployed somewhere else very soon and they will not know where. Her greatest fear seems to be him being shot down and becoming a POW. Definitely a scary thought, huh?
