that my 8 year old has decided that he doesn't care for Disney much anymore.

WHAT?????? Me, the Disney freak mom who has taken him to Disney so many times I can't count????

We lived in CA for most of his little life and went to DL at least twice a month. Now we have been in NC for about 7 months and are going to Disney in January for our 3rd visit in 7 months with our APs.

My 8 year old said, "What? Disney AGAIN????, can't we go somewhere else???"

I am so sad!,

Tha is so sad :sad2: Maybe you can do the Outer Banks for a change. It's a lot of fun...but it's not Disney World.

I'm sorry your child has turned out to be such a bad seed.....

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

PS Where is Marvin? I'm in the central Piedmont....

You are hillarious....he really must take after my husband's side of the family!

Marvin is just south of Charlotte, near Weddington.

Well when i was little I went to Disney almost every Sat. I'm 18 now and it was mostly because my mom worked there.

The thing is! My dad took me and my brother to the village. Which is now downtown disney not the park.

And although we went ALOT My parents still liked to shake things up and take up other places as well. This way we didn't get TOOOO sick of disney. Now that i'm older I am a certified disney freak LOL and I'm greatful for the times i had but that my parents used there judgement about when enough is to much. (not trying to be rude or anything)

I feel your pain. My 13yo son brought me down all of his disney stuff and said he did not want it anymore :scared: I went all the way to DL to get him the road signs from the giftshop at Autopia. I will just pack everything away for the baby.

You know, I was almost expecting it when he got to be a teenager......but at age not even quite eight????? Honestly.

We are going down in late Jan. We told him that we would do a couple of other things. He wants to putt-putt golf (or go to the driving range) and we will probably do one or two other things this trip to let him experience some other non-Disney things. Maybe DH can take him and I can still spend time in the park with my 6 year old who still loves Disney!

HA!,
