SnapFish has a great deal.
You upload your photo, add your addresses, personalize your greeetings and specify a date.
SnapFish makes a card, prints your greetings , salutations, addresses the card, adds postages and posts the card on the date you specify.
I'm thinking of doing this in a 4.25x6 postcard which would be .99 a card with a discount code I received.
Now I know this is not the best pic of Leala, but it exemplifies her.
She Loves going to Maine, which we do several times a year.
She is the calm in a storm and sometimes the eye of a hurricane. This was taken last Monday during the remenants of Kyle over in York Harbor. It was a wild sea.
She is wearing a Holiday Red.

Should I go for it?
Or should I do a more traditional photo?

I say go for it! It's a really great, natural picture. The holly in the background gives it somewhat of a Christmas feel. I always like candids better than formal posed photos. They capture the personality more.

Its a nice pic and if it exemplifies your DD then go for it! Not every pic needs to be holidayish. I generally use one I take in the summer rather than a staged Christmas pic.

I would use that. Your daughter looks beautiful and the background is perfect. :D

Very nice, Betz. Leala is growing up so much.. A pretty young lady she is. Great picture, go with it.

It's a beautiful picture, much better than a traditional "posed" photo. Go for it! :)

Great idea. I like it.

Have you used SnapFish before? I'm getting ready to order my holiday photos, too. That sounds like a great deal. Last year we used Ofoto or Shutterfly and they were beautiful, but more expensive. How did you get the code?

great picture, bets! i like leala's cardigan. :)

i'd say go for it. :)

Oh! She's beautiful! I would use that picture! The holly makes it extra special. :)

Betz I love it. Go for it. :)

Well, thanks everyone for the sweet comments.
She really is sprouting up, soon to be as tall as me.
It was a windy wet holiday weekend in Maine last week, but we managed to enjoy ourselves and our lobsters ()o() When in York be sure to check out ^v^ Fox's Lobster Pot right next to Nubble Light.

If you want the snapfish code it is: HOL30SF

the 1st O is the letter O the 2nd 0 is numeric.
Orders have to be in by Oct. 30th, but mailing can be delayed until any date specified. You can also do a sample card to see how it looks and have it mailed to yourself, which should be done ASAP as the next mailing is Tuesday the 22nd and it takes about 3 days to arrive the 25th.
The picture you see on the post here is only 72 dpi, but if you upload a picture to the site it should be the true dimensions of the card you want and should also be 300dpi for the best printing resolution. Warning ressing something up from 72 to 300 dpi does not do the trick and makes for a pixelated picture. If you need any more info or help feel free to contact me.

Thanks again

Thanks for the info. We might just try them this year. I like the holly in the corner. It's really cute! Guess I need to shoot some photos. Don't think I have anything recent to use.
