It has now been a year since I was attacked

Awwwwww thanks  I Love my adorable little bunny :cloud9: Also I booked a lot of cute little Suzy and Perla character meals at the 1900 Park Fare for my cute birthday trip :goodvibes :cloud9: Also yes I am very glad that I did not let the awful thing that happend to me last year, stop me from enjoying life :goodvibes

Can I ask you, where do you get the money for such frequent Disney trips and character dinners?

To be honest, I am usually :confused3 at your other posts and do not really understand them although this thread and the thread someone posted here about the attack made me open my eyes and realize even though this is a 'forum' everyone deserves to be treated with respect, regardless of how we all live our lives. An unprovoked attack on someone is totally unacceptable and some of the posts in that thread were as bad as the actual attack by that man.

It's hypocritcal for me, as a gay man, to expect those who disagree with my lifestyle to at least respect me...but then for me to pass judgement on you for how you live your life is very hypocritical and I apologize. Hope you are feeling better.

Nicely put, Tim.

This is a very nice post. :thumbsup2

As for someone who asked how FC affords to go to WDW so often, isn't that kind of a nosey question? I admit that I wonder that myself about several people but.... ;)

FC, I hope that you're having a better day today. Time is a great healer and I hope that it passing helps a little.

I asked that question and no I don't think it's a bit nosey. If someone posts how they frequent Disneyworld I think it's acceptable to ask. Maybe I would like to know if there's some way they are saving or some home business they are doing that's bringing in extra money to afford it. I go to the world twice a year and would love to be able to afford to go more.

How rude! Really, quite a few people here go to WDW several times a year. It's no one's business how they finance their trips.

How rude nothing. I have asked them too. There are lots of saving, earning, and planning strategies out there specifically for Disney. I'd love to go often. If people put themselves out there then they can expect questions.

Missy Mouse ... if you go over to the Budget Board here on the DIS, and the Family Board, and the Hints Board, you'll find tons and tons of information about how to save up for lots of trips! People will be more than willing to help you. You'll have lots of sources to ask!

That was a great post, New Jersey.

FlowersChild ... I'm glad you are able to get past the past and live for today. When traumatic things happen some people never get past them, some people never let it bother them, and some people take some time to deal with the emotions and feelings surrounding the trauma. Best wishes for the future. :)

You are such a sweetie. :goodvibes I'm always really impressed with your posts....you have an open mind and heart. :goodvibes

Flowerschild, I'm sorry you were attacked. :( I hope you can begin healing and that no one ever tries to hurt you like this again.

A number of posts on this thread have been deleted.

1) Do not hijack threads. That's rude to the OP.
2) Sexual innuendo is not appropriate here.
3) Don't fight and argue in a thread. If you have a beef with another poster, take it to PM. The rest of the posters don't want to see it.

And finally- if you find another poster annoying or odd, IGNORE them rather than arguing or ridiculing them. Either put them on your ignore list so you won't see their threads or posts at all, or just skip over their posts.

Miss Missy, I believe the answer you are looking for is FL resident Annual Pass & a Dining Plan available to FL residents that offers 20% off at select restaurants. Yes, FL residents are so lucky. Not only do they live close enough to go often; but they don't have to pay for airfare; AND they get great discounts that others can't get. My DMIL is one. I saw FC post this answer once so, that's how I know.

Its certainly helpful info (which is why he freely shared it in a post he started once.) You & I will just keep saving our pennies. :sad1:

I'm sure FC wouldn't mind answering the question since he already did once.

How's your piggy bank looking? DBF and I counted out a few nights ago for fun and we're up to a whole $20.75, and it's only been a year of saving change. :rotfl:
:lmao: Sounds like my piggy bank. I hear about people who save change and when they count they have $700 saved. I save for a year and have $15...whats up with that? :confused3

You and me both, sister. I think it has something to do with the fact that I spend almost every penny I have. Darn cost of living.

I'm really jealous. 20%? I know FL residents get discounted admission tickets, but I didn't know they got an extra 20% off restaurants. I wish I could retire to Florida already. I wouldn't need to worry about buying a home since I'd just live in splash mountain. FSUUUUU.
