It has been a day and I'm already homesick

I returned from Walt Disney World yesterday and had the trip of a lifetime. We not only stayed at my house, the Grand Floridian, but we also went on the Platinum Plan. (Interesting fact, they only let 100 people on the plan at one time in all of WDW. Only 25 people have done the plan so far.)

We didn't get the room we hoped for, but I didn't mind...I was at Walt Disney World...again! The room was smaller and the balcony was a tight squeeze, but it was cool.

I got to do the segway tour around the world! Now that was awesome. The things are very easy to use and once you understand that you will NOT fall forward or off the thing, you get really confident...almost too confident lol. I activated the speed limiter all too often as I found myself trying to go over the set speed (5 mph). lol.

I went Jet Skiing, parasailing and speed boat driving lol. For the jet skis and the speed boats, I needed my license. (Just as a side note, if you want to take part in these activites, bring your license!)

I also got to meet up with some neat dis'ers there too from the Dis/vmk board. I believe OnceUponAStar* posts here sometimes...I'm not sure lol I don't spend too much time on this board lol. But I met her and a couple of others you guys wouldn't know lol. We had a blast! Though I wish OnceUponAStar* Talked more!!! LOL Star, if you're reading this...speak up next time!! It felt like we had the controls to her mind and we had her on mute! rofl. I had fun with everyone who went to MGM. Oh and I forgot...I think we blamed Star for something while in the ToT gift shop...I remember something like that lol.

Anyway with another trip planned for next year, I am sure I will never get over this homesick feeling!

Thanks, you guys, for the welcome back! It is nice to see lol. I really did have a wonderful trip! I am planning on posting a trip report on the trip reports board and will hopefully post the link to it here. lol. My first post on this thread is kind of scattered and only scratches the surface of the millions of magical moments had!

And Billy Brain, little buddy lol, parasailing was very cool! There is a weight minimum for single riders though...that is 130 lbs. the max. is 250 lbs. I about just made it! (I am a little over 130 lbs lol.) So I luckily didn't have to do tandum. lol. Someday you'll ride! You are, perhaps, maybe a bit too young to ride single just yet lol. I don't know. But for tandum, I saw a (assuming) 6 year old ride with her dad. It was cute!

Oh no! Next time you have the chance you should do it! Don't let your fears get the best of you! lol...and that is coming from me...someone terrified of heights! . The parasailing was completely awesome and the view was simply breath-taking!!

The segway tour was very funny. The guy who took us around made me laugh a lot. The two people who take you around are very friendly and great people to get along with. They make the tour that much more enjoyable! Also, it was amazing how you really CAN'T fall off of the segway! After I established that I was totally secure on the thing, I had a blast!
