Catching up!
We compromise! One trip to Disney......one trip to the beach! (Myrtle this year! Cause it's just too dang $$ to drive to FL and the kids are happy!)
You've never been??? We went to Va Beach growing up.
HEY.. you have already BEEN to Disney this year... so you get two vacations..
We have found ways to "cheapen it" Still are staying at the Value Resorts.. but that is now cramped. Next year we will have to move up. I will be looking for Points to rent again and I will do it MUCH EARLIER . We have always had SOMETHING FREE. Last year it was the room, this year the flight, and already had passes. Right now we have a full sized car for just over 200.00
( Scott likes his car) but I am always looking to get one cheaper.
From where I grew up in Ky... It was always a DREAM to see the Ocean and Disney World. I honestly thought I would never see either. And becasue Scott hates the beach... don;t see the Oceans much.
What kind of farm?? Did u have goats??
No Goats.. no one around there had them. You COULD find some sheep. It's mostly Cattle and "Burley" Tobacco. Different Leaves and used for Cigarettes. Va Tobacco they use mostly for Pipes I believe.
We also had Chickens, Pigs at some point, Quail( my favorite) and 350 acres to play in Along with around 50-60 head of cattle
Guest Access Card.. for those with a disability. It allows us to use a shorter line since Joshua can only wait so long. No way he could wait 60-90 minutes for a ride. We use that when we do not have a fast pass, and it allows you usually to use the "Fast Pass Lines"
I never went either---to much money for a family of 6--we camped at the beach every year (one of many reasons I take my mom to the beach--bless her for washing dishes on a vacation!)
Most families go somewhere at least ONCE while they have small kids at home.
But the excuse I was ALWAYS GIVEN was because of Terry( and his Autism).
Camping would NEVER be a vacation for me... I grew up in the woods. I know it makes great family memories.
I wanted to re-read this to remind me of your ADRs---are they still the same???
And another 10 points for the royalty shout out!! (although you DO realize that the only "fancy" restaurant in Marion is the Chinese buffet, right???)
I think you all will like LeCellier--my girls loved it (but then were even more impressed with Cali Grill!

We like Chef Mickeys last year---but I think they'd shoot me if I booked it 3 times! (they like a slower paced meals now!)
All ADR's are still the same. Really considered jumping on the "Wave" ( where the Steakhouse was in the Contempory) since it opens 10 days before we go
figured we could get a ressie pretty easy. But I am sticking to my original plans.
Cali Grill DOES LOOK NICE.. not sure how well Joshua would like it... he is REALLY PICKY. Hoping Cape May will be O.K. for the kids.
I imagine Chef Mickey Will be our Favorite ALWAYS. We have gone there every year.. and just like the Kids Pictures outside our Room Door.. I can chart the growth and the passing of time
with pictures from Chef Mickey's.
BTW TE.. did you see my little Mother's day slide show ??
Kids grow up too fast... then they become Teens that sleep till noon and meet you later in the Park when it is Meal Time

It is going to be a different pace for us this year for sure, We now have 9 places( including the BBB) that we have to be at AT A CERTAIN TIME.
Always before the only thing that we had to worry about missing was that 3 ride of the day on Space Mountain
Today is 24 days till Disney..
My camera's are both on the fritz hindering my update.. but it is coming soon. Just may be a short one.
My kids still like the "Characters", and Scott (my DH) Likes Buffets 
"Chef Mickey's" (so we'll get in somewhere around 9:00
)
