LOL C.Ann. You sound sooo much like me. Just keep reminding yourself that it is just the "initial investment" that sets you back (macaroni and cheese for dinner, anyone?)
But it will be worth every penny of it when you see how happy your family and friends are when they get one for a Christmas gift.
It'll be a great gift! LOL, that is the way scrapbooking goes!!
I went to the scrapbook store yesterday and bought all Disney stuff. I went to check out and the lady says, "Oh, someone's been to Disneyworld. Or are you going?" I said," both! "
I think lots of people still think of it as a one time pilgrimage.
Oh, and in honor of yesterday's $$ posts: I spent $5.97.
Save yourself the money of replacing the cartidges. Check out this place here . There are lots of 'generic' kits that you can get at Target and such to refill your cartridges but I've heard so many problems with them. I've bought 3 different kits for 3 different printers from this guy and they are excellent. Great directions, all the tools you need, and the best prices I've found. You should look into it - it's only yet another thing you need to spend your money on.
I am stocking up on Disney scrapbook supplies to do our cruise in a couple of weeks.
It is always so good to find fellow scrappers (my husband refers to my scrapping friends and I as a "cult": -consider me a charter member!)
Kallison--I'm with you! I have enough trouble just getting the pictures into an album. I can't imagine how long it would take me if I had to be creative too!! I do admire all the DISers who do this though!!
I started getting into scapbooking because I have TONS of pictures just lying around. Then I discovered digital! Digital scrap books are a LOT easier! We did one of our Hawaii trip this spring and now we are doing one of the building process on our log home. The HP 700 printer/scanner/copier and a digital camera is all I need for this! I am quite sure it is cheaper in the long run that all those other scrapbooking supplies!
Ann Come on over to the scrap book BB! We will take care of you! We understand....and we encourage and support this habit! LOL! Actually I have to get off of here and head over to my LSS (Local scrapbook store!) I have a newbie scrapper who needs stuff!
But join us!
