It’s the little moments that count!! 3/31 KathyRN137 & Lurkyloo's podcasts

When I showed DH the picture & asked who it was, he wasn't sure which one, but he knew it was a child actor. :confused3 much better than me.... I thought perhaps a sports player. :confused3 Thanks for the clarification!
And of course we would hang on & continue to read. You are a wonderful writer & you and Bill are a fun couple to follow! popcorn::

Bill and I didn't know who he was until Bill heard him talk then knew it was Screech.

OK, now I am feeling OLD!!!! Dustin Diamond is looking OLD! :cool1: At first I thought it was someone from Star Wars that I didn't know.

:rotfl:

So happy to see your update. I tell you what, you two are just magnets for characters and celebrities! I looked at the pic and said, I bet that is Screech, and sure enough it was. Always love your pictures and updates. Glad to see you are back.

Bill is the character magnet, they see that smile and have to spend time with him. Thanks for posting.

Oh that Bill hes a trickster LOl but a smart one thats for sure!!! I love the views from his tray all the time ,its definitely a neat way to see things,so keep em coming. I can't wait to hear more.

I love the views from the tray too. Thanks for reading.

It was great meeting you, too!

I agree with the poster who suggested a series of posts from the tray. I think it would add a unique perspective to the reports.

We are looking at suction cup tripods to attach to his tray. If I can talk him into it, he will be the photographer 50% of the time in December :goodvibes. Thank you so much for taking the time to post.

It's great to see you posting again! Another wonderful update!

The Florida sun is brutal, but Bill's persistence really paid off!

Great report so far. I think Bill should offer online courses for dh's on surprise planning, like mine. :lmao: Sounds like a fun and relaxed trip. I hadn't heard of the private dining before. Sounds so great.

Great updates and pics.

Okay we were deciding today to do Star Wars weekends or the Villains party in September and this made up my mind. I need me some SW.

Is that really Screech? He looks so different.

Glad Bill got his pic with Ray.

What a view from the balcony.

I know I posted yesterday and it is lost in cyberspace.

I watched Saved By the Bell all the time, I had young girls, but I would never have guessed that was Screech.

Your TR helped answer a question for my grandkids. I am planning on naming my next dog Chewbacca and they keep telling me thats silly. In the parade pics there is Chewbacca. I was able to show them who he is so they understand it wasn't a silly made up name. They wanted you to know that they are enjoying the pictures as I read along.

Oh, I hope you find a way to fix the camera safely on his tray. I love those shots.

I am researching it right now, I am excited to see the pictures he could capture.

Thanks! Bill doesn't give up when he wants something.

I think Bill should teach Surprising that Special Someone in WDW, it could fund our Disney trips :rotfl2:. We love private dining, it is expensive but we thought it was worth it to have that special time together.

We really did enjoy SWW, I just wish it hadn't been so hot, I hope it is cooler for you. We LOVED that balcony.

Bill really liked that his picture helped you out :goodvibes.

I was really feeling for you being in that hot sun, but I'm glad it worked out! SWW looks like a lot of fun, but comes at a bad time of year for us.

It was brutal that day, but seeing how happy Bill was made it all worth it :goodvibes.

We got up at a decent hour and I started to get things ready for the day. Next thing I knew I heard a crash, then saw this:

What is that? That is the cover over the air conditioning unit that had slammed against the wall scaring us both. I called down to tell them what happened and to get it fixed. They came quickly and didnt seem fazed that it happened. I documented the scratches on the wall by taking pictures on my cell phone and when we went downstairs I showed them to the concierge desk and asked them to note it in the file. I didnt want us or the owners of the points to be blamed for damage.

We decided to get lunch on the Boardwalk before going back to DHS for some more Star Wars Weekend fun. It was a nice day, a little hot, but not as bad as the day before. We grabbed a bench and used Bill's tray for our table having our own little picnic.

We were in line to get on the boat when I realized I DIDNT BRING MY CAMERA!!

I went from:

To:

Then finally:

Was it hard not to have my crutch/camera with me? Yes, but I also knew I had my phone and this would make me look around more and not worry about what I can take a picture of next.

As soon as we got into the park we went to get in line for the shows at the Premiere Theater. There was a huge line already:

184.jpg

The first show was Obi-Wan And Beyond starring James Arnold Taylor and a Galaxy of Voices. This man is amazing!! He does so many different voices besides The Clone Wars ones he does. He is the voice of the strawberry Mini Wheat in the cereal commercials, many video game voices, and he does the voice overs for Animation Domination on Fox Sundays. We really enjoyed this. As soon as it was over we got back in line for the last show "Visit to the Maul Starring Ray Parks". This was a martial arts demonstration, he was amazing.

After the show was over we went through the Streets of America. I saw this and thought of Jordan. He is an amazing DISer that used to have awesome trip reports. He always took pictures here.

Bill rolling down the Streets of America:

We saw some tricked out scooters:

Bill wanted to get a R2D2 souvenir cup so we got in this line:

197.jpg

Another Cast Member showed up to help so the line didnt take too long, but I was paranoid about our Kona Café reservation so I rebooked it for later and cancelled the first one we had while standing in line. I know I am nuts.

The cup came with a frozen drink, we chose Cherry. While we were waiting for the bus to the Polynesian I decided I needed a picture of the cup right after Bill decided to take a sip and it made him cold:

It was a beautiful night that would have been nicely documented with the Canon, but I got this:

Of course no trip to the Polynesian is complete for us unless we have booze:

204.jpg

Bill got the Kona Coffee-Rubbed Pork Chop:

205.jpg

I got the Coconut Almond Chicken:

Bill got the Banana Chocolate Crème Brulee:

I got the Chocolate Fondue:

We was looking forward to tomorrow, we were going to be Dining with an Imagineer again.

Next installment... The Yeti has secret jewelry

That must have been scary to have that cover fall off like that. Noises always make me jump.

I could not have gone on without my camera. I feel lost, naked, nekkid, disjointed etc without it.

I miss Jordan's TR's. I lurked mostly but he was so much fun to read along with.

Love Bill's face after the cold drink. I hate brain freeze.

Dinner looked really good. I'm not doing any TS restaurants in 3 weeks as I will be offsite and my mom and aunt expect me home for dinner. Free lodging and food, can't beat that deal.

Okay, it's pretty early in the morning, and I am trying to decide which I would enjoy more, the Poly beverages or the desserts.. probably not a good sign for my day. ;)

We had an issue with a vent/maintance cubby with an OKW gv we were at a few years ago. Plus it had a horrible moldy/musty odor. We ended up switching rooms. Glad you guys didn't run into that type of issue. But you must have just about jumped out of your skin with the noise. Good thinking to photo & report it. :thumbsup2

I love the R2D2 cup.

Those are pretty cool looking scooters.

Looking forward to the next installment of your TR.

EEEKKK! I'd have panicked, too, if I'd forgotten my camera. However, it looks like you had a great time without it! That R2-D2 cup is so cute! Love Bill's Brain-Freeze look. :cool1:

It made us both jump. I was lost without the camera, but we needed to get over to SWW to make the shows so I had to just deal with it. I miss Jordan too, I was so surprised when he posted on this TR, it made me so happy to hear from him. You have a great deal, Disney and free lodging and free food, you really can't beat it.

Oh both the desserts and the beverages are equally yummy. I think Bill thought I was crazy for taking pictures of the scratches on the wall. I didn't want us or the owners of the points to get charged in any way.

I adore that R2D2 cup. Thanks for posting.

Hi Darla, I had a good time without the camera, I do wish I would have had it though. Bill cracks me up when he drinks something really cold.

are those r2d2 cups only out for star wars weekends or can you buy them at anytime of year?

Only during Star Wars Weekends :worried:.

I have never eaten at Kona for dinner. That looks amazing! The drinks look yummy too~!

It was our first time at Kona, we really enjoyed it and will be going back.

That R2D2 cup is the coolest!!!

I think I would have freaked without my camera... I do understand about having to get going though. It would not have been a good day though to leave without the camera.

With the days I have been having lately, I have to tell you, while the dessert looks yummy the drinks look the best!! :rotfl:

I was freaking about the camera but we would have missed the show if I would have went back. We will have to get some drinks in December :goodvibes.

Great updates! Glad Bill's ideas worked out well for him. Love all the tray shots. Mmmm those drinks from Polynesian looked yummy!
