Is this your purse? If so, I'm very jealous! I don't think I can bring myself to wear a fanny pack. I just can't. We carry a backpack and a bag in our stroller! I will be happy when we only carry one bag but I will miss the stroller!

Believe it or not, we get ours at Walmart last year and the year before that he ordered one online. I"d check Walmart first-- cheap.

Mine is the exact same way.... It must be a pretty common thing. DBF hates having to search through it to find me something, he hates that i purchase a new one almost every month and he hates when i dump it out on the groud out of frustration when i can't find something. He always says that I then don't pick up my 'purse piles' and i make a HUGE mess around the house... but as soon as he needs me to carry something he brought... i'm expected to carry it and FIND IT!!!

I"m back... sorry i've been MIA... we spent the weekend visiting my grandmother who has just started her chemo treatment. For those of you who aren't aware.. she's been recently diagnosed with Lymphoma cancer, we are currently waitting to find out what stage and where else the cancer has spread it on June 22nd. Although, her chemo seems to be going well... she's not feeling sick or anything....just exhausted.

Alright... a small update.. kinda with a LONG story. When we moved in February, I decided to throw out my years old, doesn't zip up, ruined, plain black luggage. Dbf wasn't impressed with me... but I was thrilled. I could finally get brand new luggage...and with our upcoming WDW trip... I have a very good reason. Well while I was shopping, I came across this purpley/greyish luggage that I fell in love with and BONUS it was discounted up to 50% plus there was a "buy 1 get 1 half off" the dicounted price sale going on. I was so excited.. they were the perfect color... but i wanted to give dbf a chance to see them first and help me decided on sizes to get. I can NEVER make a decision on my own... i'm so indecisive. So we go into store #1, they only have the carry on and the medium size luggage in store. After further inspection.. I notice that the medium size luggage is STAINED. Store #1 calls store #2 and turns out they have the exact same pieces, same color and notifies us that the lugage is not stained.

Now, its 25 minutes away from closing so dbf and I race over to store #2... only after futher inspection: THEY ARE STAINED WORSE than the luggage located at Store #1.

While in store #2, dbf told me to check they're online stock. I get home and the first thing I do is go to bentley.com and guess what?

THEY DON"T HAVE THE EXACT SAME COLOR. ​

Bye now, it's not looking good. I was so disappointed.. i'm the type of person where once i've fallen in love with something: I need to have it.

but we were leaving for up north (see my grams) and i was training at work... so i just decided to forget about it because I was honestly getting upset and just too busy to go into anymore stores in this city.

Well sure enough... were up North and i'm in the mall with my aunt.. and we come across a Bentley.. and YES, YES, YES... they have my luggage. They had the carry on and the medium size in the exact same color. The best part is: they are not stained.

Now.. i usually think that a 'carry-on' is small..and would have usually purchased the medium and large suitcase... but NO store that I had been in (all 4) ever had the large in stock. My aunt and I opened up the suitcase, checked for stains, tested them out.. and I said SOLD. I"m surprised how big the Carry-on is, and I think along with the medium size i will be okay... OHhh.. and both are 'expandable'.. so they get bigger.

Well here they are... i hope you can see the color.

Dbf and I, take alot of 'weekend trips' all around Ontario, so the carry on will be perfect and the medium will be good for any trip longer than 4 days.


O.T. Miss Britney Spears has just released some MORE North America Tour Dates.... I am soooo excited to see her AGAIN. Once in Montreal, QC and now i'll get to see her in Ottawa..

I love them! i am so glad that you were finally able to get them. I know that you were so dissapointed when the others were stained. I am so jealous. Even though we desperately need new luggage, DH is hesitant to spend money on anything. Then again, i did manage to finally get him to pay for the trip to WDW(with all your help) i will keep trying though, and you know that I will eventually prevail. I just hope it is in time for the trip!

The color of your luggage is gorgeous! I need to actually buy some luggage within the next few months because I have none. I used DBF's suitcase back in March when I went home for a day, but that won't work out too well if we're both traveling at the same time.

Surprise

All right, if anyone has read my past trip, Sept. 2008 TR, you’d know that I love everything about a good surprise. I love receiving them… and I love planning them. Well.. It’s been a bit of a tradition that I surprise dbf with something while in Disney… did I mention Dbf HATES surprises.. but he has come to appreciate them.

Now here’s the deal, the surprise itself happens in Disney but it certainly doesn’t have to be Disney related. Part of the reason why the surprises started was dbf is a ‘hater of all things Disney’ .. I know..but I try my hardest to make our Disney trips full of new experiences and fun for him too… so for it’s working!!

Here are my current options and thoughts:

1. Aerosmith concert tickets
He’s mentioned that he’s interested in seeing Aerosmith and we have casually talked about it. He was hesitant because of the cost.

2. Switch our beloved POP to a Deluxe.
The only problem with doing this is that Dbf LOVES, LOVES POP… but I’d really like to stay in a deluxe! Maybe when we go back in May?

3. Specialty Cruise on The breathless 2 and watch Illuminations
I so want to do this, I think it would be extremely romantic but he says for the price we should just get another day’s admission and enjoy a whole evening in Epcot.

4. Private lesson at one of Disney’s Golf Course
He’s really starting to get into golf, especially with his work friends. I’m not sure if he’d want to actually do this, he can’t travel with his clubs and he’s a lefty ?? I don’t know. This one was on the top of my list.. but the more I think about it.. the more I’m not sure. He’ll have to cab it over.. and what will I do? And it would be on our very last morning in WDW…hmmm

5. Richard Petty Driving Experience.
We’ve also talked about this is in the past.. and he made some remark about how crappy it would be because all you do is go around in a circle But… I think he’d truly like this experience.

If you read my trip, Sept. 2008 TR. He thought the Aqua Sea Tour (which I was dying to do) was going to be huge waste of time and money. HE LOVED IT.

6. Parasailing
This would be a little selfish, as it’s always something I’ve wanted to try. He’s an adrenaline junky.. so I know he would love it.. but it’s not necessary something for HIM only.

7. Wake boarding
All I can say is adrenaline junky.. but he could do this in Canada.. it’s nothing unique.

8. The Spa
Ohhhh.. it would be so nice to have a couples massage but again we can do that in a spa here in Ottawa… it’s nothing unique.
