Issues with DVC fridges

Are fridges in DVC being replaced? I didn't think they were but now I'm questioning myself. We are scheduled in 2 bd room in BLT arriving 9/15. We are coming straight from the cruise and planned to stop at the grocery store on our way. I don't want to be surprised with no fridge AFTER I bought milk and yogurt

No, the DVC villas were not affected. We were just there end of July and our fridge was fine.

DVC rooms are NOT affected. Tim at DVCNews.com has contact DVC twice about this and DVC has confirmed that DVC rooms are unaffected.

DVC studios have a "real" mini refrigerator with a compressor and a freon substitute.

I believe the cash rooms had a thermoelectric cooler (with no compressed freon-type coolant) which are similiar to plug-in car coolers.

Thanks! I thought I had read all dvc including studios weren't affected but then I couldn't find it again and others were confusing me! Lol
