So we cut the cord. Bought a $100 over air antenna that's in our attic. We have it hooked to one of our 4 tvs. We'd like to hook it to a second which is literally on the wall directly behind the other. We cannot get it to receive more than 1 TV! HELP us troubleshoot.

You need to know how the outlets are wired through the wall. You should be able to split a $100 antenna into two jacks without an issue. More than that and you might need an amplifier.

Knowing the wiring huh that sounds tedious……is it? How is one supposed to figure that out?

It sounds like you may need a distribution amplifier. That's a gizmo that attaches to the antennae, and allows you to distribute the signal to multiple tvs. You could use a splitter, but that will weaken your signal strength. (I'm by no means an expert, but we've been cable free for six years.)

How is the antenna connected to the TV? Somewhere, the wires running to each outlet come together. You need to find that spot.
