ISO:Mason Jars w/handles...

Has anyone ever seen these? We bought some about 15 years ago... over the years they got lost or broke. A old roomie of D's took an entire case (he asked for one, we thought he meant one glass, one one case of 12 or 16).

I'd love to be able to find them again...

Gosh... I didn't realize they were hard to find. I have about 6, but after you posted this, I went and took DH's tea for lunch tomorrow out of one and put it into a sports bottle. Don't want him to break one.

Seriously. I wonder if you can buy them at a Cracker Barrell or somewhere like that. Maybe flea markets or thrift stores? I've just had them all my life, and so has my mother.

Hmmmm there are Cracker Barrels here. But I've never seen them for sale.

Years ago in Alaska is when we bought them. I bought them b/c they were cheap (like $3 for a case LOL) and the bigger ones ended up being our fav glasses.

I actually mentioned this b/c I read about someone's husband's ice tea in a mason jar LOL.

I would try your local craft stores like Micheals/ Pat Catans. These aren't quite as inexpensive as you mention, but a few options if you are interested:

I wish I knew what size we had... 16oz doesn't seem big enough :/ but maybe that was the size... Man If I could find these locally $2 for a glass or even $3 isn't "bad".

You know, I also have seen them in our 'dollar' stores from time to time ...but they are so hit-or-miss, maybe just keep an eye out?

Actually, 16 oz is a decent sized glass, if you think about it a can of soda is 12 oz....

It *seemed* like we could get over 2 soda's in one glass... I could be wrong tho. We had smaller ones and then the bigger ones. I wish I had one to look at.

i remeber seeing them at dollar stores too, but I can't remember which ones, dollar general, dollar bills, dollar tree????? If I see any, I will post where I found them at and I can send them if you want me too. Now to just find them!!!
