ISO 2 or 3 Moonlight Magic for June 16

Hi Everyone,

We have a party of 8, and unfortunately, Moonlight Magic only recognized 5. We called multiple times prior to April 17th to make sure everything was in the system correctly, and were assured, it was. Of course though when we registered today it only allowed us to do 5.

Called Member Services and after 2 hours on hold with a supervisor, I was disconnected without this being resolved.

I'm not able to try on May 10 since we already have a reservation.

If by any chance you have 2-3 spares on June 16 we would greatly appreciate it so our entire family can attend. I know my husband would be fine staying back (ha ha), but are hoping we can all go.

If your room had 8 people listed prior to the cut off date, and you did not modify that reservation in anyway after that date, I would call them back again. I know I had that problem once and they told me because I swapped out points the day before registration, it didn't recognize all my guests.
 
I would call again. I have cash reservation for 7 and could only reserve 5 for moonlight magic 7/14. After almost 2 hour wait, supervisor manually added 2 more to my reservation. Was told I should receive email in few days since it was manually updated.

Just curious: how was your cash reservation booked? Through MS or through MDE? I had a MDE cash reservation and when I entered my membership number this morning it did not recognize my reservation (I was originally given a number of 2,500 and was entering my membership number after 20 minutes, so I was in in plenty of time)... I have heard similar stories from others as well.

ETA - this actually makes me pretty mad since I also talked to a supervisor and they said there was nothing they could do and to try again on May 10..

I booked on Disney website. I‘m guessing they were able to add to my reservation because I wasn‘t able to book for the number on my resort reservation.
Sorry you‘re having trouble. Didn’t post to make anyone mad. Only to give my experience & maybe it could help someone.

Haha, no worries! My tone didn’t come across well over text (although I do wonder why the supervisor was able to assist you but couldn’t help me).. I was just curious as it seems like we were in the same situation, but for whatever reason my reservation wasn’t recognized. I’m just trying to understand why mine wasn’t accepted so I can at least get it corrected for the future, but trying to understand Disney IT is futile.
