We've been recently invaded, in my basement, by centipedes!! Now, up until last night, I was squishing them and disposing of them quite well. Last night was different. I smashed this spider 3 times and, 1/2 of it was STILL wiggling around! YUCK!!! Had to call DH for the finalization and disposal, I thought I was gonna puke!

Vanessa, please tell us WHY you still let this thing occupy your umbrella?!?! Charge it rent, for pete's sake!!

I don't mind spiders. They like to eat the bugs that like to gnaw on me ('squeeters, etc.). My dd is terrified of them, so I'm the exterminator if she sees one.

We have a colony by our front lights. At last count there were 5 big ones. My daughter laughs that we should be renting the space. I hate them in the house, but actually like watching them outside.
