Islands of Adventure: place for a "snack" or coffee/drink that has great atomsphere?

Where would you recommend to stop in at IOA for a snack or perhaps coffee/or a drink that has great atomosphere or themeing? This would be something to entertain some "older 40 something" ladies. Lunch not necessary.
How is Enchanted Oak Tavern?

For great theming go to Mythos in the Lost Continent in IOA and have a FANTASTIC dessert to go with that coffee!

The Watering Hole in JP. It's outside, but it is very relaxing and serene.

Also in JP, Thunder Falls (if it's open). Sure, you hear the thundering sound of a boat plunging into the water every 30-45 seconds, but it's a great spot.

You can also try the Crossiant Moon Bakery in the front of the park.

Another vote for the watering hole. In all the hustle and bustle, it's a great place to sit in the shade, relax and have a great drink!

Crossant Moon Bakery and the Enchanted Oak Terrace is good for coffee and snacks.

Puffy, I got a laugh out of your post since I'm a 40-something person and yet I'm so young! Of course I had fun last year with my 60yo sister riding Dueling Dragons time after time so I don't think the females in my family grow up.

This trip I'm going with my sister and a cousin....rides that go loop de loop make us sick....something that has gotten worse as I have gotten older. Be we love all the other stuff. I just wish the parks would quit making rides that make us want to puke

I have lots of fun traveling with friends (more so than with family because the "responsibility" of traveling with immediate family...ie, children....is a little stressful)

Anyway, I was looking for a place to sit down and enjoy the atmophere - food really isn't important. I've been to Mythos so I wanted to try something different. Didn't know if some of the other places perhaps had some "cool scenery"...?

This symbol is supposed to be AFTER the "puke" word above...:crazy2:

Thanks for the ideas

The Enchanted Oak will probably be a good choice for you, then. Just get your munchies and GO OUTSIDE. The seats out there offer a great view of the lagoon and other parts of the park. :)

Rides that spin turn me green a bit more now than when I was young. So far I'm ok with the upside down rides. I've never been to the parks with friends, but once my sister and I met at WDW and did that without kids (or grandkids in her case). It was so much fun! As much as I love my chldren, it seems impossible to please them all at any one time. At least one is always complaining! :)

We like the Crossiant Moon Bakery for both morning and evening viewing....YOu can grab a cup of coffee and a pastry or sandwich and watch people as they wander into the park and out of it.
I love to sit by the wall there and relax when we have the time and it is a good rest point too if you need to just sit and get off your feet for a bit.

The breakfast sandwich there is out of this world. That is usually where we dine when we go to IOA for breakfast.
