Islands Buffet for Christamas Day?

Has anyone ever eaten at the Islands buffet inside of the Royal Pacific Hotel for Christmas? The cost will be a bit more than the usual price ~ it's about $43 per adult and $18 per child... I've never eaten at this restaurant before, but we have stayed in the resort numerous times in the past. I have no idea what to expect b/c I can't find find any info on this seasonal buffet and the hotel personnel can not help either... They say it's too early to know anything.

Also, are there other dinner buffets in other Univ resorts that are recommended? We'll have a group of 9 family members with us and I'd love to make this memorable... The kids ages are 12 (boy), 8 (boy), 5 (girl), 5 (girl) and 2 (girl) and then us 4 "grown-ups". The last time that we went to Florida for Christmas, everything was booked and we ended up going to Publix & bringing some frozen pizzas back to the rental house... That was a little depressing; Don't want that to happen again!
